Hey so this is a request and my first time writing supernatural after the story Our Luna.
Riddhima always liked staying near water any type whether it is a pool, beach or an ocean. No wonder she was into environmental science and her focus on oceans and the pollution. She had packed a picnic basket today she was waiting for someone special.
All of a sudden she saw a figure swimming towards her in high speed and completely drenched her in water, cold and wet she shouted at him,
R- VANSH..Panni itna thanda hain. Why did you do that?
V- I love annoying you. He was still in water his tail swishing water at her.
R- Stop it. Come on i hope the food is not ruined. She turned around seeing him standing naked.
R- What the..🙊🙊, here wear this pant.
V- Itni baar you have seen me naked still you blush so much.
R- Whatever. 😒😒 I missed you.🥰🥰.
V- Missed you too dear.
R- Waise how is everyone doing?
V- They still feel i am not telling the truth. That i have a human girlfriend.
R- I wish i can meet them.
V- Me too. But don't worry one day you can, if somehow you have a tail and gills on your body.😝😝
R- Haww😡😡, how mean.
V- Mein mean, when we first met called me a big fish. I am not a fish am a merman. He said puffing his chest.
Riddhima chuckled he always had to prove his 'manliness', he had told her several times that he would actually feel insecure since he is not a human, and Riddhima can be with anyone else. She still remembers the day they met.
Flashback
Riddhima had recently shifted to her dream house near the beach and as usual everything was littered with rubbish. It took her atleast a week to get rid of all the litter. It was late at night when she was walking around the beach, when she saw what looked like a fish trapped in a net.
She went closer only to find it was a man? with lower half in shape of a tail, she first thought that he was wearing a costume..the man clearly in distress shouted at her
M- Lady, stop staring and help me😡😡
R- Oh yeah right here. She pulled the net away with all her strength and the man went into the water.
Clearly startled by seeing a merman? she had fainted right into the sand. She didn't know she was sleeping there the whole time, she woke up to someone tapping her face.
M- Hello.
R- Uh..w.where is your tail?
M- Oh i can stay at land for few hours.
R- So, are you like those fishes, because i don't like them.
M- NO, i am a merman.
R- Right, and i am a shark.
M- Here let me show you. He went near water and removed his clothes which were too baggy for him. Man he had a great body. He came up and Riddhima can clearly see his lower half as a tail.
R- Oh..he playfully swished some water at her.
M- By the way my name is Vansh. And yours?
R- Riddhima.
Present
And that's how they met, Vansh used to visit whenever he can, and today also was their date and since the food was ruined a bit. Riddhima decided to take him to the town for sightseeing and to show how humans lived.
It was a fun filled day, for a merman he was awfully afraid of heights, loved anything that includes water and was able to talk to animals, she giggled seeing other people shocked faces, when the normally cranky animal would be so calm near him.
It was getting late, and he was getting weak so they decided to leave, he gave her a sweet kiss and a seashell necklace as a gift and memory of theire relationship and promised to meet her soon. She stood there watching him go until she no longer saw him. She went inside her house clutching the necklace and smiled remembering the day they spent together.
Ps- Hey guys so i don't know anything about how to write supernatural stories and i prefer Vampire and Wolf stories. Anyway do comment and please tell me seriously if i should only write os. Because my stories have so less comments...
