I am happy malini is not giving her a walkover. Every thing is fair in love and war. Since cheaters have always lied why cant malini do that to atleast try even once. To be very honest - I maintain the story is going in circles.

First it was Imli edging out Malini and now it's the other way round. Only Malini's task is much harder since almost the entire T house - barring Aparna - is Team Imli!

But I have to admit that it is a nice break from watching Imli's unlimited mahantas every day!

And just what's with Trapathis and suddenly filling

Aparna - Loved Imli like no tomorrow and the day she finds out about the truth of her relation - she just flipped overnight. But I think it's just matter of time before she too falls a victim to Imli's manantas charm - absolutely no one in T house is able to escape it. Very soon the viewers will be subject to another round of Imli's mahan tasks spanning many episodes. Until then, lets enjoy normal storyline.

Rupi - Had no issues with Malini, in fact also seemed respectful towards each other. And the day she finds out about Imli - she just flips to team Imli. In fact, she even loses her common sense in the process. She has no sympathy for Malini what so ever. It's almost like she had latent hatred for Malini and loses no time to ensure Malini's marriage breaks. I am surprised why people have not started calling her grey yet!

Aditya - Don't have to begin - his love for Malini vanished faster than speed of light! Wonder what moon moon moon was all about

And as for as Imli is concerned - frankly I don't think she will be hurt by anything. She has a sharp and cunning mind - and have not seen her being swayed by emotions. Till now she has played all her cards right - and she will continue to do so. I think the track is written just to buy time before the writers can come up with some more mahan things Imli needs to do.

From the first week, there are so much indirect signals about how Adini a superficial relation, and how Adili is SM choice and Malini being the third wheel in their relation!

Even Malini know how much Imlie tried to mend problems between Adini but that never work ( go back to e#186 Malini herself admit that to Imlie ) but Malini mind work upon convenient, that time accepting this fact was the thing which will make her the better person in the eyes of others, but now after the truth unfold and how things went not in favor for Adili and how ppl keep saying to her that you have the right , you have to fight, Adi loves you, she entertain this idea, and figure out oooh then I have a chance lets try out! And dismiss the fact that she already knew and still have debuts about if this will work or not!

But yes Imli "mahanta" will come back again, and Imlie will give Malini her own husband as a "BETTY" and will leave for the second time, because she is not selfish and don't need a man name/love to defend her like someone we know!

Rubi is a first wife, and now fighting for another first wife rights because she know how that feels.

If some one cheat from your exam paper you are free to cheat from his paper

Adili is the endgame, at least you and me know this is the ultimate fact of the show!

As viewers we see the characters through selective lens giving importance to parts of the story that fit our perception. Let’s look at the evidence here.

Imli- a young girl in her late teens who just graduated high school comes from an impoverished family and always dreamt of a bright future. Her Dadda and Amma encouraged her to dream big and did the best they could to educate her. Right from the start her singular dream was to study and become a big officer and give her mother and herself a decent future.

Her Dadda Satyakam asked her to be Adi’s tour guide around PD. On one such occasion, she begged to return home before dark on a stormy night. Adi being a city dweller didn’t have a clue of the seriousness of a young unmarried girl in PD staying away from home overnight.

Nakli Nani saw Imli as a burden and used the opportunity to forcibly marry Imli and Aditya. To save Aditya’s life (humanitarian and unselfish reason) from violent villagers she agreed to marry him. The choice was stripped away from both of them and she married a city guy she had just met a day or two ago knowing fully well there was another woman in his life he was about to marry. Through no fault of hers she made the choice to save both their lives.

Her husband blamed her for her villagers forcing him to marry her. He couldn’t leave her in PD so took her to his home unwillingly. Imli announced to T family she followed him to the city looking for work and the maid label stuck to her.

In her heart she saw Ts as her sasural and so served them the best way she knew how and won a place in their hearts. She also got to pursue her studies.

In Imli’s world you only marry once and she decided to go it alone in living as a suhagan and Aditya’s wife. She let him live as Malini’s husband refusing for a long time to build her future with Aditya on the ruins of Malini and Aditya’s failed marriage. Once Malini presented KC as the man she has moved on with, Imli was ready to have a future with Aditya.

Malini - wealthy, pampered princess of the Chaturvedi family. A history Professor who molded herself to become more like Aditya. she knew she loved him but Aditya wasn’t convinced it was love. When the subject of marriage came up he decided he would marry a friend of 7 yrs knowing fully well her mother hated his guts and didn’t miss an opportunity to taunt his family about their middle class status. Malini excused her mother’s belligerent behavior towards Adi.

Malini knew Aditya was not in love with her. Somewhere deep down inside intuitively she feared Adi may not be her man for life. When she knows her bf of 7 years does not reciprocate her feelings insecurity is bound to raise its ugly head and trust in the relationship takes a back seat. Doubts start to creep in, hence the need for his phone calls while he was away.

Aditya a serious patrakar from a middle class family. He decides to settle down with his best friend of 7 years when the subject of marriage came up. (Scenario of better the devil you known than the one you don’t).

When Aditya returned home from PD plans for his and Malini’s wedding were in full swing. Aiitya wanted Malini to know what had happened in PD and told her the truth at the coffee shop. Malini shocked, dropped to the ground like a wet noodle. Aditya was also warned by the doctor that Malini was naazuk and telling her things she didn’t want to hear may put his life in danger.

Caught between a rock and a hard place and fearing for her life he went ahead and married her even as destiny’s choice as his wife Imli stood there watching her husband take on a second wife. He also knew Imli saved his life in PD and it wasn’t her fault that they had to get married. She was as much a victim of circumstances as he was. What could they have done?

After being warned by the doctor to be careful what he tells Malini he backtracks and doesn’t confirm the truth of his wedding to Imli. He now had two wives and as time passed his equation with each of his wives changed.

Adi felt guilty, felt the strain of juggling two wives, the truth of which was only known to him and Imli from the start. As time went by he was drawn to Imli and away from Malini.

Malini was clueless why Aditya was distancing himself from her after 7 yrs until he finally spilled the truth. She decided to let Aditya live with Imli as fate first brought them together as man and wife. But that was temporary. She pretended to be with KC but couldn’t get over Aditya. Now she’s using her mother’s sneaky ways to weasel her way back into Aditya’s life. Her plan is to snatch him back from Imli (as if he was a possession) after he told her he and Imli were in love.

Sita mother has her own plans for them from the start.

Adi decided to resolve this complex situation on his own instead of discussing with his elders to find a solution. His pride, anger and fear stood in the way. It’s a messy situation and all three are tied up in knots only time will tell how it all untangles.

Let's be clear on the character Rupi

This character was written with the SOLE PURPOSE of being Imli's spokesperson. The actress literally has no other dialog - she reminds me of the characters in Jumanji that go on repeat mode "Welcome to Jumanji" and hers is "Imli mahan hai"

This is how her character behaves

Imli and Aditya got married at gun point --- Rupi says "Imli mahan hai"

Malini was cheated by both -- Rupi says "Imli mahan hai"

There is new virus in Wuhan -- Rupi says "Imli mahan hai"

Rupi is not a fighter - she is just the biggest velli in T house. That lady doesn't even have 5 mins for her own life. What and who the hell is she fighting?

As a woman I don't support Malini's actions but I am not able to empathize with Imli either. Hard to forget what she did to Malini. Plenty of people cause harm and feel bad yet choose to keep on doing it. Does their feeling bad make them a good person? No, it makes them an average person with a guilt response. Feelings do not have moral value; they are only signals. Your morality is defined by your actions. And Imli is a total failure in that respect. Her actions are loud and clear

I am pretty sure very soon the viewers will be subject to another mahanta saga of Imli..Who knows from the writers though process...this time Imli will be fighting international terrorists...she has already dealt with Village and national level. Like I said, ridiculousness has no limit in Imli world

Oh I think majority of viewers already realize what a shrewd mind Imli has....they just use some bizarre theory to justify it. And then start bashing other characters

I completely agree. Best post I've read since I logged back into this forum (a great place for humor and nonsense).

I initially liked Imli's character but the writers are running out of ideas. Imlie the Superwoman, Wonderwoman and Batgirl, all rolled into one can get really yawn-worthy after a while!. She has a great future working for the CIA or the FBI. Her skills, as the servant girl wanna-be daughter-in-law, are so low level for her! Aim higher Imlie! Dump Aditiya, the lowest form of life in this show, and run along. Go back to college for starters! Get a boyfriend closer to your age, and discover all the teenage things you missed out on.

As for Malini, what the heck are the writers doing to the only character who was worth watching until now??? . The real Malini would never behave like this. Why would she think Aditya would want her back or that she even wants him! She doesn't know it yet, but she despises Aditya. Like most of us!

Malini needs a vacation. And a really good therapist. And she needs to stay away from her mom. While Anu is very astute and great fun to watch when she is slapping Aditya around ( I wish I could reach into the TV and do the same! 😃), she is NOT the best advisor to Malini. KC is a better friend and confidant.

Aditya continues to be a loser and the worst male lead I've seen in a long while. (I am a veteran watcher of Indian TV drama for 20 years, so I know!)
