It's easy to mock her, but the poor woman must have had hard time adjusting to Bollywood standards of beauty coming from the south. She was exceptionally talented, yet she must have had insecurities. It's a hard life. Although they get name, fame, and money, looks are all that matter in the end and that's what keeps them in the race. Just saying.

I haven't denied Sridevi's immense talent, neither do I deny that it is extremely difficult to fit into the "standard" set for Bollywood heroine. Neither do I judge or will pull down Sridevi or anyone else for that matter for getting those procedures done...

The thread was about "plastic" beauty and I gave my opinion on that because for me Sridevi "fits" that description perfectly. Besides, other "beauties" have been mentioned too.

Giving opinion with proof equates to corroborating a statement, not mocking..

Just saying!!!

Oh dear! Sorry if I offended you, it was not my intention. I was just talking about Sridevi in particular as she is one of my fav heroines and even I noticed her transformation over the years, but didn't give it much thought as I liked her movies.

Maybe I should have quoted the other post by some other user who said even her death had something plastic about it. Such harsh words are not needed and I felt compelled to answer. It's not you, it's the general mindset of judging people on media reports that I'm against. Anyway, have a pleasant day and hope to see you again :)

Like infinity said everyone is plastic thesedays.

But the original plastic beauty will be Aishwarya Rai. I don't think she had had much work done on her face but the personality would embarrass a barbie doll.

Jhanvi is so plastic she's non biodegradable. But her surgeon has done a wonderful job. So I guess she doesn't count. Like her mother ,the transition was good and not awkward.

Priyanka Chopra. New nose new lips. And I suspect new skin. I used to find her stunning before all that so I don't get why she did it .

Shilpa Shetty takes the cake though. Half of her face had disappeared when she entered movies. Then rest of it started disappearing too. She has no nose left. She looks like Michael Jackson. Well at least we know she paid for it herself and not with her dhandewala husband's money.
