Movies that were flops but you liked

Recently, I came to know that Kagaz ke phool had flopped at the time, which was shocking because it was such a great movie.

Others I liked but didn't do well:

Phir bhi dil hai hindustani

Paheli

Edit: Adding Paheli to the list, I LOVED that movie!

Phir bhi dil hai Hindustani is on of my most favorite movies, I was suprised that such a great movie was a flop. The chemistry between SRK and Juhi

I also loved Humko Dewaana Kargahe, Mujhse Dosti Karoge and Lamhe (although as a kid my Hindi wasn’t as „good“ as it is now

Lakshya (almost bombed - was below avg)

Dil Chahta hai (almost bombed)

I just realised Paheli was flop too - it was such a great movie ❤️

I liked Mehendi starring Rani too - watched it multiple times.

Akashvani was BEAUTIFUL - it was a box office disaster as well.. wow.

If there's one I can think of it's Dil Se. Though, I can see why it didn't work its magic on the silver screen.
