I don't think he mistrusts her at all. He has no doubt about her intentions. But everything is against her and he can't openly support her. Also Bondita expecting him to side with ber is way too much. He himself is tied down by so many issues. She could have saved herself by going with TM and CCs plan or come up with something smart to get out of the situation but she kinda put him in a spot.

But I don't think he would be able to see her ho through such harsh punishment. Either he will oppose it or do something to bring her out of it

Ani has definitely surprised me .... The guy who never used to keep quiet on seeing something bad happening has now plastered his mouth..... But ya can expect his emotional breakdown very soon🥺🥺
