Next day onwards, Adi started to visit Imlie's college or hostel daily. He could not spend even a single day without seeing her once. Some days, he would just look at her from distance. Other days he would go meet her, make some formal conversation and leave.

This behavior of his confused Imlie but she didnt want to think too much about it.

As per his routine, one day Adi was outside her hostel to get a glimpse of her. But she didn't come out. Adi waited for almost two hours before leaving disappointed. He thought maybe she left early for college. So next day he came one hour earlier but still could see her. Third day he got restless and visited her college. She was not there either.

This continued for a week before Aditya got seriously worried. He decided to go to her hostel and meet her. He asked about her whereabouts and got to know that she had left for Pagdandiya in some urgency and there was no information about when she would be back.

Aditya was heartbroken. He just could not stay in Delhi anymore. He decided to go to Pagdandiya and check on her. Once he is sure that she is fine , he would come back. On reaching Pagdandiya, he headed for Imlie's home. There she was talking to her friends. He got very angry. There he was worried sick for her and she is enjoying with her friends.

He was about to leave, when he heard Satyakam's voice, "Jamai Babu, why are you standing there.Please come inside." Aditya froze then and there. Does it mean Prakash is also here and Imlie came here with him. He didn't want to see Prakash again so he started to leave in haste. He again heard Satyakaam calling Jamai Babu. Unwillingly he turned towards Satyakaam and was surprised to see Satyakaam coming towards him. Satyakaam asked him why he was leaving. He called Imlie there. Imlie was shocked to see Aditya standing there. Satyakaam scolded Imlie , "What has happened to you. Jamai Babu is standing here and you are playing with your friends. Is this how you take care your husband."

Aditya didn't know what he felt. He could not believe what he was hearing. He was shocked, happy, mad. He looked towards Imlie , his eye wide opened, his heart ready to come out of chest.

Imlie pleaded him to not say anything just now. He played along. Soon three of them were inside Imlie's home. Satyakaam said that he would get some refreshment for Jamai Babu and asked Imlie to take care of Aditya till then. Imlie knew what would happen once Aditya and she were alone. She offered to get the refreshments but Satyakaam refused.

When Aditya and Imlie were alone, Imlie got all covered in sweat, dreading the conversation that was about to happen. Aditya finally gathering the courage asked her, "What is all this. Why is Satyakaam calling me Jamai Babu. Where is Prakash. Did you lie to me."

Imlie: So what if I lied to you. How does it matter to you. You never believed in this forced marriage anyways so why are you so angry. I lied because I didnt want to trouble you. What are you doing here anyways.

Aditya: That means you are not married to Prakash. That means this Sindoor, this Mangala Sutra is for me. That means you still consider me your husband.

Imlie: Yes, Yes, Yes. Yes to all your statements. But you dont consider me your wife so you dont have any right to scold me like this. I will not take your insults anymore. I didnt come to you asking for anything. This time you have come here.

As Imlie started to leave in anger, Aditya pulled her towards him, "You told me such a big lie. You have no idea how your lie affected me. I could not sleep , eat, breathe, work. The idea of you belonging to someone else killed me everyday. Why did you do this to me. Why"

Imlie: How does it matter to you if I am married to some one else.

Aditya: It matters because I love you. I want you to be mine, just mine. I realized this very late but now I believe in our wedding, I consider you my wife. So much so that I have cancelled my engagement to Malini. I have told her the truth. Please forgive me for all I did to you. Please accept my love. Please be mine forever.

Imlie could not believe her ears. But she saw tears in his eyes, she hugged him tight. He hugged her even tighter.
