We fly Qatar too, but don't think it's commenced from here just yet. Do let me know your travel experience and what all things you need to do. Covid related. Based on your itenirary, I don't think Delhi is a requirement anymore. My mom's devastated with all the losses in our family, and we have to go take ashes there too. But just are waiting it out so we don't get stuck.

ML, Qatar has started operating from the US for the past 6 months from all their locations and a great service too, much better than United and AirIndia which are the air bubble flights between US and India. Only if you go in United or Air India, Delhi is a requirement. I took chances with Qatar, worked out fine. The only thing with Qatar is, you will have to get covid test on arrival in Indian airports. I got done mine inChennai as soon as I arrived, should get the results in 24 hrs. I didn’t want a stopover at Delhi or Mumbai, stay overnight in a hotel and take the first domestic flight next morning.

Anyway both my Dad and My FIL did not die of Covid but had illnesses that they succumbed too, none of us could help them. Any loss of life is really hard to deal with especially when its your close family member😕

I don't appreciate accepting gifts from fans , I liked this thing about Karan Singh , he always mentioned in his interviews not to spend money for his gifts

not in defenseman of KD , but I have seen some posts on Instagram where has sent return gifts to fans

But yes demanding only black frames was a bit too much

So it rubs me the wrong way when KD shares all the sketches and asks fans to frame it and send it. And today he was like black frames please or something like that.

Because these are young kids, we don't know their financial status, and you're asking them to frame first and then mail it. It could be hard earned money and the package with frame could be heavy. And on top of that, he asked for black frames only. Erm. He probably earns more than enough to buy himself a frame of his choice and frame the sketches. No need to ask kids to send it framed. They are probably jumping in joy at celeb wanting their gift and are probably spending hard earned (and probably limited) amount of money they have. Especially in these COVID times when many families are struggling financially.

Sorry if it hurt anyone. I do love him, but certain things just rub the wrong way.

He dies for such gifts and attention. And honestly I don't see any humility in him for it. Just one example, when one of the fans sent perfumes to all cast through Karan and they made videos thanking them, Mohit was the only one who said in the video along with Shiny, I don't remember who was with him, that koi zarurat nahi thi itna kharcha karne ki humare liye aapka pyaar hi kaafi hai. I really liked him for saying that.

On the contrary, KD keeps encouraging these kids to send them those sketches, sketches tak it's fine, the kids will also feel their hardwork being appreciated by the actors but asking them to frame it and that too frames of his choice are just too much.. I've never seen any actor do that nonsense and obviously every actor in ITV who are even more famous than KD receive many more gifts but don't do like this.

This was bugging me too since yesterday.
