I haven’t changed my last name at all and I am happy and proud about that. I still go by my maiden name. Infact it was my husband who suggested that I keep the same for GC purpose so paperwork is all easy. He didn’t want to go through name change hassle. Now if they associate my name with his last name, he gives them all a look and corrects them to say my maiden name.

I like keeping it as it is because that’s my identity and it’s one of the most important things for me
