Sandhus & Their Insensitivity😭

I find the Sandhus really insensitive when it comes to matters that involves their family member vs someone else. They feel as if their child can never be wrong. I don’t know if this happens in normal households, but it doesn’t happen in mine😭.

• At Fateh & Jasmine’s wedding, Satti created a scene so did Abhiraaj when Gurpreet spitted facts at their face and the duo unnecessarily dragged Simran in between the matters. They’ve never handled matters with caution and that disappoint me to know that someone can be insensitive in an already sensitive matter.

•Second was them accusing Gippy and Mami without reason. Jasmine was apparently ‘assaulted’ and that’s how they’ve dealt with the matter? Based on one side, they didn’t let him talk. Satti calling Mami ‘shani’ was absolutely disrespectful on her part, who does that to their sister in law or even an elder person, both in age and relationship?

The sister in law that have always supported them and guided them through everything was disrespected due to one crime that the proposal she brought for the daughter was framed for, i’m gonna call it that. Sandhus reach to their verdict faster than the speed of light, they’ve already assumed Gippy was wrong when they already know what type of a person Jasmine is? I see no need of Satti being a wonderful mother all of sudden, when she’s been crappy right from the starting. All that mattered to her was the visa to Canada.

I hope Gippy manages to expose both Fateh and Jasmine, and Tejo needs to be a little more respectful to her elders too. You don’t go around questioning someone and accusing them when you yourself aren’t sure.

Fam, you’re right, Sandhus fail to address issues or handle them properly. Satti failed as a mother and Tejo’s obliviousness to her family members are problematic. Jasmine is manipulative and toxic. Tejo could’ve been respectful to her Mami. I wish she’d stand up to her mom, and see how problematic all her family members are. Her obliviousness is getting on my nerves. Tejo lacks self confidence when she needs it the most. She’s always been suppressed and made the sacrificial goat, so she acts as expected of her but when she needs to use her brain, that’s where she fails. She ignores all red flags and treats situations as if it’s normal. Being a psychology professor, she should know how to treat sensitive matters and should know that not every victim is a victim. She stands up for the right things at the wrong time. Satti and Jasmine are alike. Tejo is joining the gang soon.

It’s actually very real in a typical Punjabi household, there are people who assume their child cannot do anything wrong 😑 unfortunately I was never one lol
