Only love (in the way he wants) she holds back due to the known reasons. At times her dealings with virat appear as though taken for granted but if virat is ok with it, then it I should be totally ok.

Hmm, I still don't know if I agree with this, but I think it's because we might be using the phrase "taken for granted" in different ways. I think that we as an audience can clearly see Virat's love for Sai, because he has already realized it. So, when he does certain things for her or says certain dialogues or even has his monologues, we label all of that as his love. But, it is harder for us to see Sai's love or label her words and actions as such, because she herself has not accepted it yet. She herself is confused... so instead, we have to "decode" her in a sense.... just like Virat does. And Virat himself, I think, knows that Sai does not take him for granted. He is able to look past the surface-level meaning of her words and into her actions to see that she, too, cares for him deeply. In this way, both of them are the same, actually. Neither one of them is willing to accept that the other loves them or label it as such due to their own insecurities and fears....

😔 I meant granted in a positive way. She speaks rubbish at times, but thats ok because it comes from a good place. Virat understands that is what I meant. May be i am not expressing clearly in words. 🤔

No no, I got you! That is why I said I think we are using "taken for granted" in different ways! ❤️

I don't know if it's just me, but that phrase has an inherently negative connotation 🤣

@bolded: This just gave me the idea. Someone needs to make a SaiRat VM on this and insert in all the "zimidaris", "legal guardians", "farz", "vaada" nonsense.... how funny would that be 🤣

But what I didn't like was how she said in front of everyone that he is eager to send her away. Making it sound like he is the one to be blamed is not nice. The poor man has received enough shit from everyone. 😳

Somehow the tadap was not enjoyable as the man was immersed in guilt and was on verge of break down. If we talk about forgiveness, he doesn't get it as easily as her. She gets it even without apologizing so keeping that in mind he doesn't deserve this treatment.

Will he beg, will he go down to his knees, will he cry, will he promise somethings and/or finally would he confess his feelings. I am sure she has an inkling that Virat really loves her - he in fact has already told her that he wants to be a husband in the real sense to her. So I guess she's testing waters. Nothing wrong also. Bcoz she needs to clarify her doubts. Its high time they either progress in their relationship or part ways.

If it's true then I hope she will stop her deal marriage and I will leave this home in 5 yrs jaap. It doesn't make sense if she continues after knowing what Virat feels for her.

We could see Virat’s care, concern, and love even before the realization. Even before he realized his love he was always attentive about her needs and preferences. He took efforts to know her likes, dislikes and tried fulfilling them. I haven't seen the same efforts from Sai yet. The only incident where we could see this was when she brought Pakhi home. The hospital scene where Virat was shot was more in terms of humanity and gratitude for the man who had saved her twice. That's why I feel she takes him for granted as she hardly does things to know about him and his likes . They don't have to be in a romantic relationship for this. Another reason why she takes him for granted is she never apologizes for her mistakes no matter how small or big it is. She will apologize to Pakhi but never to Virat.

I disagree. In my opinion, we have seen Sai's deep affection and care for Virat since the very first day she entered CN. There are numerous examples I can give, but I will list just a few. Despite enduring mental torture from his family on a daily basis, she has still respected them and attempted to win over them. This is because of her own longing for a family, but it is also for Virat. She knows the value his family holds to him, and she is willing to go to extreme lengths to gain their affection... because to her, the vultures are ultimately extensions of him. Even on the wedding reception day, kaku had the audacity to insult Sai's abba and yet she still went out of her way to convince her to stay in CN and end her drama, because she knew the place kaku holds in Virat's life. Time and time again, Sai has forgiven Virat for all that he has done... this in itself shows how much he means to her. If you want to talk about tangible things... she went to DIG sir right after their marriage to prove his innocence. You mentioned Sai bringing Pakhi back... to me, this one thing was worth 100000 efforts. Think about how hard it must have been for her to bring back this woman into her husband's life... but she did it anyways, despite the fact that she was already feeling for and possessive about Virat, because she thought that he could not be happy without her. She went and fed Virat that day he did not come back from work on time. She defended Virat in front of the entire family time and time again...for example, when Kaku tells her that Virat will think the family is forcing her to do work after the ruby incident, she tells Kaku that this is not the case at all. Virat knows the little details about her, but so does she. In the college fest track, she knew where each and every one of his things were placed in the room. And, I disagree that the hospital scenes were out of humanity and gratitude. She was entirely shattered when she heard of the news of him being shot, and she was so guilty that she had not forgiven him when he came to GC. That type of desperation and longing doesn't just appear for anyone... Virat was already the most important person in her life by that point. Time and time again we have seen that she cannot see Virat in pain. After the Harini bday explosion, she asked him to come back upstairs and helped him with his back ache, even though she was so angry and heartbroken at what she had heard. When he gets the slightest moch in his foot, she freaks out. And just in the precap for the next episode, she cannot even see him shed a single tear. She gets so worried seeing the tear's on abba's photo, because she does not want her Virat Sir to be hurt. Even in the hospital scenes from this past track, every time Virat was crying, she would turn her head away in the other direction or look down, because she simply could not bear it.

Pooja( I hope I got the name right ) , it's an interesting discussion and I remembered few more scenes where I felt Sai cared for Virat and have listed below but I disagree with few scenes you listed above. I am not debating over Sai being in love with Virat or not but how she takes him for granted.

1. Taking food to the hospital when he was with the little girl Viji

2. She knows ladoo is his favorite sweet.

3. Applying alta for him

I don't believe she is being nice to his family for Virat’s sake. I think she is craving for family love and to call someone as her own. Even otherwise she is someone who helps people selflessly. Virat had identified this trait of hers during the Pari rescue mission. Though I disapprove of her way of forcing trimurthis to college feast she did that so she doesn't feel like an orphan. Even during Virat’s mission, she was saying he is the only family she has. If Sai was not an orphan maybe she would have behaved differently. Even if she was not in love with Virat, she would have done this.

I Don't think Sai did any favor to Virat by going to the DIG office. She said the truth and she stood by the truth. She went out of her way to do it but it was the right thing to do especially after what Virat did for her.

Like I said in the beginning, it's not about whether she loves him or not it's about taking him for granted. She may have feelings for him I don't deny that. Here are few occasions where she prioritizes other things over him

1. Ruby pendant: She was unapologetic about giving away the present. I can understand why she gave it to Kaku but she could have at least examined it to Virat and apologized got hurting his feelings.

2. College feast invite: She doesn't invite him until he asks for it. . Even after him asking for an invite she sounded rufe the way she spoke to him.

3. Her unapologetic attitude. I had made a post long back where she has refused to acknowledge her mistakes and apologize to him. It's from GC days.
