“I am ready. Me shadi karne ko taiyyar hu.” His heavy voice echoed in her ears and her already broken heart again felt cracking inside inducing an unbearable pain once again.
Hot liquid flew down through her eyes as she kept it close crying in agony. What has she thought? He would ask for his Bondita? He would confess his love for her? Or best that he would make it clear that “Me sirf Bondita ka hu.”
She felt herself as one of the biggest idiot who was living with that dream, the dream which was just like floating on the sky, so tempting yet so unreal!
She wiped her tears as she felt someone coming near. Quickly she started gathering the utensils and other things to prepare a coffee as she was asked by her Sakha Babu.
No! He wasn’t her anymore. How can he be when he surely wants to be of Vaijanti!
“Arey Vaijanti tum yaha kya kr rahi ho?” Sampoorna asked entering into the kitchen and she quickly turned her back towards her to hide her emotions.
“Kuch nahi ji! Mai.. Mai to bas wo Barister babu ke liye Caaaffee bana rahi thi.” She told her in composed self and Sampoorna teased her making a sound of “Ohhoo!..” “Abhi se itni khatirdaari. Kya baat hai.?” She nudged her and Bondita tried her best to give her shy smile.
Sampoorna laughed on her shyness not getting the redness ofher eyes and wounded emotions on her face. She patted her back slowly and said “Jao wo Terrace par gaya hai abhi yahi keh kr k coffee use wahi chahiye.” SAmpoorna told her briefly and She just nodded meekly showing that she was busyin preparing coffee for him. “ji me de degi.” She let out the words trying to compress her heavy voice thick from emotions.
As soon as she left the place she let aother drop of tearfell from her eyes chanting in her heart that this was not what she wasexpecting it to be. Fate surely is playing a cruel game with her and this timeshe doesn’t even feel like getting up and fight.
For whom she should fight? The person who always stand beside her to let her fight assuring that he is just right beside her has decided to throw her away from his life completely then what will she do with this fighting? She thought bitterly as she poured his coffee in mug and put itin the tray.

With heavily bleeding heart she took steps towards stairs. With each steps upwards her life felt getting crumbed at the other end. She hasdecided this will be their last meet.
Ofcouse! She has dreamt to be his always but not like this.She wants to become his as his Bondita. Bondita, who was reason of hisilluminated life as he always said but not anymore. She doesn’t want to be in arelation where everything is pure lie apart except the thing that the heart is still same which wants and shouting only for HIM!
Reaching on the door of terrace she quickly composed herself and masked her feeling planting a brave cheery face she was ready meet him forthe last night knowing that from the next day she wouldn’t come here for him,for her fight of life.
She opened the door with other hand after releasing a heavy breathe and entered in but her feet got stuck as soon as she realize the viewinfront.
The whole terrace was illuminated with lots of little earthen lamps just like he has decorated it once back in her haveli in disguise of Rupa. The night when they both has confessed their feeling with purest heart. It may be having childishness and their words were too simple for them to confess but reality was something else, they had opened their heart and let their feels reach other that night in lighter way too.
The atmosphere was still like same as if repeating the history and her heart thudded loud on the thought. “Sakha babu ko aaj bhi apni bondita ke saath bitaya har pal yaad hai. Kya ye sab…?”
Before she could thought another thing a voice broke the trance. “Wahi khade rehne ka irada hai kya? Meri coffee bhi thandi ho jayegi Vaijanti.”
And reality downed upon her that he was still accepting heras Vaijanti and this is all not for the Bondita like she thought. Another stab in her heart as soon as she realized thar thing and her steps fluttered making her loose balance but Ani was quick in action. He quickly hold her arm steadying her and in that step they had come too close to feel each others beats.
Bondita has her eyes closed as he was lost in her moon like face which were having worrilines on it and it twisted his heart. He doesn’t want to see her like that, not even in slightest pain!
Her heart rate accelerated as he kept staring at face and holding her arm and for the first time Bondita felt like running away from her Sakha babu. She was jealous of her own other identity. She wanted to feel those things and these moments as real Bondita only, which has now become impossible to happen.
Thinking so she quickly took not one or two but three stepsback making Aniruddh surprised. He raise her brow asking silently whats wrongbt she just looked at the tray and bring it forward. “Apki… Caffeee…” Herthroat was chocking up with emotions and she knew she wouldn’t be able to holdherself long before breaking so she was just planning to leave as soon as possible. But seems like Aniruddh has different plan as taking the mug he demanded. “Aoo Baithte hai waha.”
He said pointing towards a place where a mat was placed and bunch of roses were put down on it. Bondita doesn’t understand what she should do. If only the mess wasn’t there she would have been happiest to spent time with him that too demanded by himself only but Alas!
“Wo kyuu ji..?” She asked hesitantly looking here and thereto avoid his gaze which was still fixed on her only. “Arey.. Ye kya bat hui? Abkya me apni hone wali biwi ke saath thoda samay bhi nahi bita skata? Use janneki koshish nahi kr sakta?” Aniruddh said in almost disappointed form placing thecoffee back on nearby table and Bondita quickly wiped a drop from the corner of her eyes in the mean time.
She was shocked beyond limits knowing that he is wanting to step ahead with someone else willing that too with so much hope. She felt herself frozen as she realized that she would crumble this hope of his again on the next that too and probably will become another reason of him becoming coldhearted person just as he like to show. NO!!!! her soul shouted and she quickly shook her head in no in pain.
Anirudhdh who was observing her changing facial expression quickly came nearer and hold her arms'. "Ye kya kr rahi ho tum?” He asked worriedly and in that moment her eyes filled with water finally went up to meet his gaze he was left frozen on his place. So many emotions floating in those small, enchanting eyes and just then he felt the flash of past appearing in front f her when his bondita would look at him to understand her without words for help.
He quickly stepped back without a word as if jerking thememory away and that bring her out of trance too. She was confused by hisreaction. “Aap ye mere saath kya krti? Kbhi aise itna paas aake itni tez pakadleti aur kabhi itni tez chod dhakka maar deti. Me bhi ek insaan hu ke nahi?”She complained forgetting her emotions for the moment and Anirudhdh snapped his head towards her giving a thorough look.
Her words. Her words felt like it doesn’t only complying thepresent situation but her whole life and he shut his eyes tight the next momenttrying his best to take control on his emotions.
“Mafi chahunga. Me bas kuch….” He left the sentence in mid and than before she could persist to complete his words he hold her hand and bring her to mat saying “YAha baithte hai. Ek dusre ko jaante hai.”
Bondita gave him a curious look as she felt like fighting for the last time for her love in that moment thinking may be he was still pretending and would confess the things which has always dreamt.
“Chaliye thik hai maan li aapki baat. Aaiye baithiye.” She was back in her chirpy mood and sat on the met hugging her knees to her chest. Aniruddh after giving her a brief look sat down beside her staring into the space around his own mind surrounding with the past memories but he let it hid in corner.
“Pehle to aap mujhe ye bataiye ke itni saari sajawat kyu huihai yaha?” Vaijanti asked looking around smiling at the illuminated lamps as if they were filling her soul with particles of light.
“Ek rishtey ki nayi shuruaat karne jaa rah ahu to socha ispal ko khubsurat banana to banta hai. Takki kuch kadvi yaade bhoola saku.” He told her his actual thought honestly andit pricked her heart yet again. So it was not in the memory of Bondita or for Bondita! She thought bitterly but didn’t let her emotions seen on face.
He looked at her thought filled as tried to know what's going in her mind but when she didn’t come out of her zone he asked “ Kya soch rahi ho?” His voice was like of heavy spell and her eyes to met his.
“Yahi ke kya aap ke paas sach me kuch meethi yaade nahi. Ya fir aapne apni un meethi yaado ko hi itna bedtar samjh liya hai ke aap unhe yaad tak nahi rakhna chahte?” She asked flown in emotions nt realizing that it was the real Bondita speaking her emotions out for the first time in front of him.
He didn’t tear her gaze away and replied “Yaado ka kadwapanya meethpan unse judey logo ke wajah se hota hai. Yaadein to bohot meethi sihoti hai pr sab unse juda shaksh hi humse dur chala jaaye humari umeed tod deto unhe dil me lane ka man nahi krta.” Anirudhdh too let out his emotions as he remind himself that she wasn’t infornt of him still.
“Kya ye bat use nafrat karne ke liye kaafi hai? Uski humare zindagi me bhare hue rango ko dhunldhla kr dene ke liye kaaafi hai? Ho sakta hai kahi wo bhi kisi majboori me tadap raha ho aise. Door rehna to do logo ke haath me hota hai na. App agar chahe to jaa kr unhe kareeb nahi bula sakte kya Barister babu?” Bonidta spoke letting a hint of disappointment in seen in her voice.
The only that only she has made attempt to come closer yet being accused as culprit was making her bleed once again. Anirudhdh was frozen by her words and went numb as the water drop fall from her eyes she repeated her question. “Kya ek koshish dusre shaksh ko krni nahi chahiye thi saamne wale ko janne ki ya samjhne ki? Kisi hi saksh ke haal jaane bina uske baare me raay bandhlena ye sahi hai kya?”
They sat in silence for five minutes after which he finally bring his hand forward and wiped her tears. “Ye sab se badi galti hai Bondia!”Anirudhdh voice out his thought and her eyes widened on his call.
She opened her mouth shocked as wanted to confirm that thing which she hear but nothing came out and she closed her mouth back staring at his face special into his eyes and next moment he uttered with chuckle “Natak khatam krne ka waqt ho gya.”
She didn’t even wait for a second or bother to reply as he said those words and just threw her arms around him. Knowing him better then even he was prepared by her move and quickly embraced her in his secured arms as they both hold each other tight letting their tears flow.
They cried letting out their emotions which were pent up since eight years in their heart. The separation, the hatred, their fecades and their tortured feel everything resurfaced as they bring each other impossibly closler as if trying to hold other to never let go again.
It was after whole ten minutes she calmed down as he caressed her hairs with red eyes from crying, he let her face him and then their eyes met finally as Anirudhdh and Bondita and soft smile with tears in eyes again appeared in their face.
“Aapne mujhe pehchaan liya?” She asked emotionally as her cheeks turned red remembering about their passionate hug so she tried to avoid his eyes. Anirudhdh understanding her mixed emotions decided to tease her a bit so he said “ Nahi, Vaijanti ko gale lagane ka mannn chah rha tha.”
Her mouth became ‘O’ by his words and she pushed him slightly fluffing her cheeks like she always do in anger and he broke into fits of laughter exactly expecting the same reaction. From the corner of her eyes she looked at him laughing so freely and turned to him completely with bright smiley face chanting a huge thanks to her goddess.
He stopped his laughing session feeling her strong gaze and asked “Aise kyu dekh rahi ho?” She smiled and said “Itne saalo baad Bondita apne Sakha babu se mili hai use ji bhar ke dekh lene dijiye.”
His heart raced on her words and actions and unable to resist he bring her more closer pulling her by her waist. She was shocked on his sudden move but couldn’t react fast as the newly erupted feeling was creating havoc in her from brain to toe. “Zindagi bhar unhe hi dekhna hai Bondita..” He whispered in husky voice putting a loose strand of hair behind her ears and gazing in her eyes.
Her heart thumped loud on his words and as if it was not enough he uttered next “Ab me hume kabhi door nahi hone dunga ye mera wada hai tumse Bondita.”
She kept looking in his eyes as if he had casted a strong spell on her by his words and didn’t utter any words. Anirudhdh too let her live those moments freely with as much as time she wants as he just want her to believe that all which was happening there is real and not his imagination.
A soft smile came on her lips as she spoke next putting her hand in his shoulder after a lot of thinking to which he chuckled happily knowing that she isn’t uncomfortable by his touch. “Bataiye kaise pehchana mujhe?” She asked again and he looked in her eyes for another minute and then taking her palm he put it on his heart.
“Mehsoos karo in dhadkano ko. Ye sirf chal rahi thi mujhezinda rhne ke liye pichhle aath saalo se se pr jab tum lauti meri zindagi me toinhone fir waise hi dhadkna shuru kiya jaise wo humesha dhadkati thi meribondita ke liye. Natak karna sirf aapko nahi aata Bondita. Mene bhi aapse yechz bohot khub sikhi hai. Me sirf dekhna chahta tha ke ye sab tum kab tkkhichoge aur apni pehchan chupaogi.”
“To kyu har waqt ye jataya ke nafrat krte hai aap mujhse?”she threw a complained with anger hitting him there with fresh tears in hereyes remembering all those back time. “Zindagi kuch logo ke aagey dikhawa krneke liye Jee raha tha. Sab ko smabhal rakhne ke liye khudse jhoot bulwaya hai mene pr ab bardaash nahi ho rha. Mujhey meri asal Zindagi wapas chaiye jo sirf TUM ho Bondita. Bohot intezar krwaya tumne.” He let out his each emotions making sure that after tonight not a single doubt should remain in their heart.
Bonita cried staring into his eyes still and whispered “Sab kuch sapne ki tarah lag rha hai Sakha babu. Is dil ko yakeen kaise karau ke sabsach hai?” She asked not removing her gaze and he too stared back in her eyesbut for her answers his eyes flickered towards her lips and she blushed when heasked “Me yakeen dilaau?”
Taking a brief glance in his eyes she bring her face little closer slowly giving away her answer and Aniruddh sealed their lips together softly giving her believe that they are finally together for forever.
