Imlie vouches to find Aditya on her own and get him back home safely .
Malini says Aditya was not hers alone . He was someone son, brother, and Malini’s friend .
Imli agrees with Malini and claims to get her back .Malini asks them to allow Imli , she too had to learn to face the harsh realities of the real world . She hopes someone’s efforts worked to release Aditya .
Imli goes to police officer but he berates her n orders her to get out .
Imli goes to meet her college principal to pressurise the hover officials to get Aditya released , but College principal declines to support Imli because it might pose danger to the lives of professors n students from terrorists .
Disappointed Imli returns home . Aparna taunts n humiliates Imli for failing to get Adi back . Aparna praises Malini for her efforts . She had left everything as sacrificed what was hers for Imli’s sake and was now trying for Adi’s rescue,
With Rupi’s help Imli reaches Minister’s residence to talk to him for the release of Aditya . The guards insult Imli and order her out . Imli and a Rupi sit before the residence of minister in silent Dharna . T family arrives and wants them to leave , they were insulting Tripathis name . T family asks Imli to do what she wanted , Rupi wants to join Imli in peaceful protest . T family is shocked as Pallavi and Anish too join Imli n Rupi .
Soon many more protesters join them . Reporters also join them so do many students of Imli’s college . They demand release of Aditya .
Imli thanks all students for joining the peaceful dharna . Imli asks them to remain peaceful .
Dev manages to get appointment for meeting minister . Malini too wants to meet the minister . Anu dissuades Malini reminding she was not his wife any more . Malini says their divorce was not final. She was still his wife .Malini puts on Sindoor n MS .
Security guards ask Imli to go away . This was not India gate , this was Home Ministers house , Imli wants to meet Minister , but guards order her out ..

The goons of Anand who have kidnapped Aditya try to make Adi eat but he refuses , Adi is then showed live video of the happening outside a home minister’s house . He sees Imli arguing with the guards . Adi is so proud of Imli from PD . The goons are happy Imli was doing so much to create a buzz, she was trying to attract attention of Home Minister . The goon orders his other goons to create ruckus at the protest .
