Yes, they don't show Siddesh much...but i believe it is his upbringing that has made her so strong, independent and thoughtful. If you remember when she had gone to deal with that school wali Aunty and she left in the middle of the night and VD refused to even send Nikhil to seek Pallavi. Siddesh as so furious. When Pallavi asked would you have acted the same if our Baba would have behaved such? His prompt answer was yes, because he knows what is right and what is wrong and he was reiterating the same to his sister.

Raghav and Pallavi are very similar when it comes to unconditionally loving their families.. Raghav has only his Amma and sister besides Pallavi to take care of..and being the earning male member of the family, he is the caretaker and decision maker which makes sense why he is so protective of them..even forgiving for someone like Keerthi ..afterall she is his only sister. Pallavi's case is complicated. There is moral obligation and gratitude for her in laws that dominated her feelings in the past till she saw the real faces of some of them, baba in particular. But even with the lost respect, she will willingly never initiate a conflict, disrespect them or look away if they are in some problem and in need of her help.. that's how she is.. ek ehsaan bhi kiya ho insaan ne, use yaad rakhti hai..for her, no matter how they behave, they will still be the family who came closest to being her family, who stood by her when she lost her husband..that sense of gratitude will always prevail.
