As for Tamil Nadu, there's a saying-
Vandorai vaazha vaikum Chennai (basic translation: Chennai welcomes and gives a better life) basically applies to the whole TN..
It's cultures and warmth always impresses me.. all the people are love, you'll never feel like an outsider.. despite us being non-tamils it always feels home there...personal experience š

We have family in Chennai! All my nieces speak very fluent Tamil. I have been to Chennai mostly for work. I love the beaches and beach food at night š¤ Prawns and Mussels with all Chettinad Spices š
I am a culture HIGH person. I would talk to people sitting on beaches for hours. My favourite memory of Chennai was sitting at the beach at 12:00 at night with my local team and wearing a Malligai Gajra on my Hair bun!! That Malli fragrance and the salty breeze and soggy cheeks due to moisture! Chennai is a mood for sure
