I don't think she is obsessed with Avinash, What I see is inferiority complex to Rimjhim. She just cannot stand the fact that the family especially Avi preferred Rimjhim to her.

According to an update posted recently on the site, Malini will kidnap megha after trying to poison rhimjhim. Then rhimjhim will wake up and kill her. Malini will probably end up in the undergrounds of the undergrounds of hell. Satan I feel really sorry for you
