Raghav was attracted to Pallavi since the beginning of the show. With time, this attraction kept getting deeper and deeper.

A lot of people didn't notice it because Raghav wasn't much vocal about his feelings. Isi liye they don't understand the significance of this confession. They don't understand Raghav's tadap and chahaat that was buried inside for ages. He kept holding himself back from time to time but his feelings were always there.

The Mandaar track was just the trigger. Mandaar k aane se he didn't realize he LOVES Pallavi, he just realized HE NEEDS TO BE VOCAL ABOUT IT.
