Remix was created because original song existed and it was good . So nothing can beat original . Itna hi talent hai toh create original songs .

Instant Karma from the 90s did a good job of remixing without destroying the soul of the original. Ehsaan and Loy from the music director trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is part of the band. They always used Sheila Lopez as their model. They even tinkered with R.D. Burman's Hum Bewafa and made it better by removing all the irritating tribal yells.

I agree with early 2000s remixes being amazing. To add to the list, I loved Bally Sagoo's remixes of Chura Liyaa, Noorie and Aap Ki Nazron ne samjha (I wouldn't call them better than original but I can listen to them on a repeat).
