Aaditri, I wrote a post at previous page mentioning why the choking scene disappointed me. Did you feel the same way about it as well?

Ashi, what do you think?

I was mainly miffed because they spoiled a potential major Raghvi moment, plus how lightly they take near death experiences! 🙄

Her talks about violin and love confirms her thoughts about this prank as well. She was calm when Pallavi was upset and I liked the way she calmly showed Pallavi the mirror. The way she pointed out the difference in how Pallavi felt for Raghav and Mandar, only a friend can talk openly. Now we know how Pallavi was with Mandar. She never had any experience of love with him. Remember we used to discuss how she was when Mandar died. We know now that she was just a girl who had lost her husband but today she had lost her life by losing Raghav. I really liked the difference Krishna pointed out.’ Somebody had to show Pallavi the mirror and the way Krishna made her realise was really beautiful.

I absolutely loved Krishna & Pallavi's scene. With Nikhil literally out of the scene since forever, it's been only Krishna who has been Pallavi's friend & confidant since the beginning.

She's always just a phonecall away for her & I really liked how she made Pallavi understand her feelings. When it's the first time you fall in love, you actually need someone close to you to give that push, to make you realize ki You idiot, yes you have fallen for someone. Otherwise, you'll just keep negating it cos you don't understand these feelings. Krishna has always been filmy and yet she clearly stated the difference that Pallavi had when she went through similar situations for Mandaar and Raghav both.

And the title track - 'Preme Chala' playing in the background when Pallavi realizes that what Krishna's voicing out is true. I was also in a blissful mode then.

Yes. This, Ashi.

It’s twice now I have seen that look on Amma’s face. Like she’s now conflicted whenever keerti says whatever happened to Raghav was because Pallavi brought bad luck! 🤔

I would like to disagree on this. When you fall in love, you know it better than anyone else! Don’t ever let anybody else tell you about your feelings, you will more often than not make a mistake there! Saying it in general, a real life scenario. Not talking about Raghvi. Unka chalega, what can we even do about it! But seriously, I would have preferred it 100 times better if Pallavi came to this realisation on her own! What’s even love if it doesn’t hit you like a storm and sweep you off your feet so that you know. Trust me, you know!

Okay if we look at this that way, sounds good for a moment. But they didn’t need to show Raghav so out of character for this! He could have woken up in a state of delirium (confusion), and maybe wasn’t oriented to time, place, person. - which is very common in a hospital setting. And then Pallavi could have thought that he might not remember her, coming to all those realisations. And Raghav could have come out of it eventually, recognise her, surprise her in a good way- maybe they could have a lovely moment there!
But, no. Really, whoever is the writer of mhrw, misses a lot on what could have been intense meaningful moments in their lives!

This is lazy writing honestly, and insensitive too. And sicku I hope you read this- when it’s the matter of life/death/hospital/icu - it’s nothing funny, really. You can’t get any joke out of it. Period.

I remember, I was miffed at that scene as well where Raghav was choking and Pallavi helped? him. Choking on food is such a serious situation, the person could die within a matter of minutes. And they turned it into comedy? Really? IRL Pallavi would be freaking out, shouting for Farhad, at the same time immediately jumping to help him the best she could and Raghav would be FOREVER grateful to her for saving him. Choking is that level of scary!

And moreover, if we compare this scenario with whenever Mandaar meets Pallavi- trust me M has earned huge brownie points there because All Mandaar remembers is Pallavi! 🤣🤣

(while all Raghav forgot was- Pallavi)

I agree with you Parul. Whatever said and done there is no justification to what they have shown. It was a very insensitive way of showing a hospital scene. @bold, you have already put in bold. Absolutely, Mandar has already brownie points 😆

Hope Sikand isn’t thinking of Saas-bahu drama 🙁
