Which is actually a very good thing, trying to know how far they are and taking a step ahead at the same time. Pallavi coming to jail with him, the way he smiled at Amma comparing Pallavi to Savitri, then pallu for the first time willingly coming so close to him during the ‘kaise mujhe tum mil gyi’ sequence and finally her promise that her past isn’t going to Interfere with their lives now- all these things gave him enough assurance that he took so many steps ahead yesterday, after so long!

I would have loved that slow dance!

But if he’s secure enough to take that step, so why not speak up to her?

Not sure if I want Farhad’s angle in RaghVi’s story. I would instead want Raghav to figure out on his own. I am not a fan of other people telling you about your feelings. I know Krishna did the same with Pallavi, but I would rather have them figuring it out themselves, together.

agree with what you are saying. Regarding the bold part - unfortunately we have 2 individuals who have been scarred - pallu being widowed on the first day of marriage and RR with all his baggage. It is really hard for people with emotional baggage to go ahead and start confessing without someone neutral probing their thoughts. Trust me it is very difficult for introvert people too to accept that they love someone even when they have no baggage. And yahan they have the whole ocean of misunderstandings and hurt to close and move on.

That is why I am happy with Krishna asking Pallavi the question in hospital - Krishna is the one person Pallavi trusts on an intrinsic level like Farhad is to Raghav. When you know the person asking questions has your best interests at heart it makes it so much easier to shed the baggage and look objectively. Both Raghav and Pallavi would not have confessed without external factors - my honest reading of these characters.

I am not sure if anyone has ever watched a show called Tumhari Pakhi - The Kundali bhagya actress was the FL in that. They have such a simple heartfelt consummation scene in their bedroom where the male lead makes her feel like she is his life partner in each and every way. That is what I want for Raghav and Pallavi - Raghav making Pallu comfortable to take the next step and making her feel like his wife not as an object of sexual desire.

I loved TP! It's been such a long time since anyone brought it up, I almost forgot about that show. Such an organic progression they showed, and Pakhi was simply a brilliant FL ❤️ Even Anshuman despite his flaws was adorable ❤️ Another show that broke a lot of tropes along the way... thank you for bringing it up

I literally said the same thing in the next post.

Oh I absolutely loved Pakhi - The title song was lit and the consummation was hands down the best progression I have seen for leads in any TV show. Beats all those cheesy transparent sarees and those rain sequences.

Yes His character is all about the subtleties — his eyes, his body language, the words he uses... you just have to read into his character to know what he's thinking 😳 It's never shown directly.

I know ITV gets this weird obsession with having leads consummate in a hut when it is raining blah blah but for me I would not want that for Pallu. I would personally like to see Raghav taking care of her in the security of their house making her feel as his wife and then them consummating the relationship.

The classic bearish mein gaari stopping to work, getting cozy into a nearby hut is really cliche. I'm all up with your idea+ the privacy maintained properly.

Maybe, you are right on this. Let’s see how it goes in the show.

Maybe mandhar becomes the external factor who makes Raghav realise the need to confess in words!

but my point is, if Raghav is that assured to take all the steps he took yesterday, so why is he not voicing his feelings out? What’s holding him back now? It’s not the fear or insecurity anymore. Only reason I see is Raghav is not very good at being vocal about his feelings. Even with amma and keerti we haven’t seen him talking to them how much he loves them, he would instead do things for them like taking care of expenses, give gifts and all.

Isi liye I'd made the post on 'Importance of Confession'. With or without Mandaar Deshmukh in the picture, love confession weighs a lot in their relationship.
