Hey Saumya Welcome to the forum 🤗

Beautiful post. Sona's llife revolved between Soha and Shubh now suddenly she came to know about Ayush and she can't deny that fact now Ayush is her son. So now she is accepting the situation slowly and she never fails to give love to soha also 😳

She did communicate. She told him to give it some time to adjust. But Ishwari overruled it, saying apna khoon, apna bachcha ghar laana hai. Again, Sona told him to call ahead and make sure and there is nothing overly done, Dev doesn't listen. Ishwari had gone ott with the decorations. So Sona has been trying to communicate her apprehensions and feelings, but overruled by overzealous Ishwari and Dev. Sona had communicated her fear of Soha being alienated also to Ishwari and Ishwari had promised her that won't happen. But it's obviously happening. So I do see Sona communicating, but feels like her views are being brushed aside. And so far, her intense guilt over Ayush and Soha is making her be quiet.

Sona is communicating her feeling of soha being alienated to ishwari ...and this is the problem... She needs to tell this to dev....

She only said dev to give her some time... But which parents seeing his child suffering, witnessing that he is all alone is going to let him there to suffer more

In these episodes it is very clear , ayush has more dev chr trait, so it's pretty obvious dev is understanding him better.... And in the night scene , dev was comforting him too, and he did feel some peace...

Sona is taking time but that doesn't mean to let that child suffer alone... Dev didn't force her to be called ma, he didn't force sona on dining table to take care of ayush, he didn't force sona to care ayush during bedtime and even he was surprised after watching decoration on his entry....so dev is giving time to sona to adjust... It's just that in night scene, ayush was too disturbed plus surrounded by glasses so he wanted sona to be there... Instead of ayush, soha was there in ayush position , dev would have reacted in same way

Sona did communicate to Dev, that she doesn't want Soha to feel odd, so she wanted him to call ahead to Ishwari. He refused, then was surprised at his mother's antics.

Definitely Dev is not forcing Sona, I agree with you there. But Ishwari hovering over Ayush is making him uncomfortable and Suhana insecure. Sona can see that, as evident from the dining table incident. She is giving Ayush space and making Soha feel secure.

Sonakshi's apprehension is not about loving the child she gave birth to, it is the fact that this child is supposed to be in the place of Suhana, her lifeline, the one who gave her a reason to be alive, when she was alone and completely shattered. It is harder for her. Dev has accepted Ayush, because he connects with him, seeing a piece of himself in the child. Sona is simply torn. She has accepted him, but not feeling that instant connect, that she had felt when she had baby Soha in her arms. There is a guilt as to why she isn't feeling that, is it fear of losing Soha? Would it feel like she is betraying Soha? She is dealing with all these emotions inside herself, without having a sounding board to voice them. Man, she really needs Asha right now!

Ishwari is taking it to a while another level, making it harder. I think Sona would connect much better with Ayush, if Ishwari wasn't in the picture. She scared the poor little boy! Dev really needs to step in for the sake of Ayush, and tell his mother to back off a couple steps!

See this is exactly what I am trying to tell

Sona knows and feels soha's condition better than dev because she was at the same of place of soha 8yrs back, she is the one who faced the feeling of being outsider while dev can feel ayush condition better because he faced similar situation in his childhood... All they both need to do is communicate with each other.... They need to share each and every feelings to each other.... Just telling one or two sentences will not going to better their situation.... And this is exactly the theme of this season... There is a communication gap between them, very evident infact after this twist

I feel Sona did tell him. In the bedroom scene, she keeps saying how she raised Soha all these years, how she can't see her in pain. She tells Ishwari and Dev together how just holding Soha took away all her heartbreak.

I believe this is where the discontinuity in writing between seasons is coming to the front. Post leap S1 and S2 Ishwari wouldn't have negated Sona's words like that, she would have considered them, even if she didn't fully agree. Post leap S1 and S2 Dev and Sona had specifically agreed that communication was key to their relationship. That Dev, in the bedroom scene would've understood her words and pain, as she spoke about Soha. In this season he is hearing her, but not exactly listening. I would attribute it to the writers throwing out all the character development from the previous seasons and building on their 'married couples drifting away' theme, where they are talking but not listening and not in sync with each other.

Bold1 so?? Even dev love her....he can't see soha in pain....even dev after meeting soha forgot all his pain... But sona is not telling right now to dev is the dual behaviour of ishwari... He didn't see when ishwari pulled her hand from soha...sona did.... He never felt any outsider feeling from ishwari ....sona had that experience.... The way sona is connecting to soha especially in this matter of discrimination from ishwari....same way dev is feeling connected to ayush because of his loneliness , his scariness.... So sona understands soha better and dev understands ayush better... So both need to communicate properly to make each other understand the position of soha and ayush to each other

@bold2 and this is exactly the theme... Like in promo sona said earlier he used to understand everything without her saying but not now.... So there is some lost love because of their busy schedule of work as well as home...and for me too ...I believe communication is the key, I m neither seeing sona opening up properly nor dev paying attention

also ayush seems sacred of ishwari. i felt he almost ate that food in hurry in fear. ishwari thinks the pota is away or 8 years he has come back he will bond instantly coz he is their dna & khoon. It dosent happen that way. for him rohit only is his dad. Things happening too soon for ayush . He is dealing with death here. he should have been left with his grandparents for a month or two coz thats the family he knows. removing him off from his family to an unknown family is not helping him. Right now the only bit of bonding he feels is with dev.

I love the fact that the father-son bonding is not OTT here. Dev is observing and responding in the best way he can. I guess he learned from 'discovering' Suhana's existing last time and is trying to make sure he doesn't overwhelm the child with affection while also taking care not to make him feel lost. He also accepts that he may never have the father tag or position in Ayush's life that his late father did, nor does he want to replace him. I think that's a very smart and realistic way to handle this topic.

Ayush didn't really grow up with his mother, we never even saw a picture of her but his father was everything to him and the man seemed to be a genuinely loving and caring father. Dev might not be able to make a place in his heart so quickly but I'm glad to see he is trying to be patient and understanding. Dev was raised and conditioned to think that as the man of the family he'd be the center of attention. When Sona came into his life, some of that thinking changed. This is why Dev's love for Suhana isn't something he questions or expects to change. With Ayush coming into his life, Dev's just feeling like there's one more person to love and also take responsibility for. I am really hoping his character shows some growth, otherwise pre-leap season 1 Dev would be hard to accept after everything that family has gone through.

I am hoping his sisters show up and call Ishwari out on not repeating history with Soha vs. Ayush but with GKB it's not going to be easy.
