Why it is most difficult for Sona?

A mother's love is like no other. Sonakshi's life revolved around Soha and now shubh too. They have been the centre of all her attention. Even though she goes out to work, Ish takes responsibility of their care, still her kids remain her priority. To top it, Sona shared seven (seven most disturbing) years of her life with Suhana. I remember how she said just holding Soha in her arms gave her the hope to live, to continue.

And suddenly, someone comes & says It was all a lie. That She gave all her love to a wrong person. That there is someone else in this world who deserved that love. That She'll have to shift her centre of attention. That someone will have to share the love she gave to Suhana & that one day she might love Ayush a little more, because he is her blood.

This fear of the future, that one day the love she has for Soha might be shared by someone else, not only share. .it might take away a portion of Soha's love as well. .this is making Sonakshi insecure.

So much so, that this is making it difficult to accept Ayush, it is creating a distance between her and Ayush, she fears Ayush will take Suhana's place in her life.

For Dev, Suhana is life but he has easily transitioned to being Ayushman's father too because Suhana was not Dev's only hope when she entered his life. For Sonakshi, suhana was her life support system.

Apart from this.... I feel sona knew that feeling of being outsider, she had gone through this feeling 8 yrs back, which atlast resulted their separation and she shattered....if suhana was not there , she might be broken for forever.... And that treatment was from ishwari... Now after this truth out, she again witnessing the same situation for soha from same person ishwari.... When ishwari said soha's place will remain there, she felt comforted, she brought ayush... But now she is watching ishwari behaviour exactly like how she was with sona ....

I don't think if ishwari was not in this picture, she would have hesitated this much.... She would have accepted ayush sooner

Sona must trust Dev this time around

Past is past , want to repeat the same things again!

Most important is Dev ... his love for Soha is the same .

Ayush according to the story is Devakshi’s son

Sona must show more live to him

Sona used to say put ownself in other person’s shoes

Why not she is placing hersel in Ayush’s place ?

That little soul lost his father , no mother either , scared , shocked child is in a new house with strangers .

Sona as a fellow human being show love ... that house is Sona’s house too she is no more am out sider

...Dev love both children but he is very sad to see the son like that !

Also ishwari is the one doting on ayush, constantly behind him. she is leaving no place for sonaskhi to mingle with ayush. Also when dev was questioning sonakshi today she should have said that someone needs to look after suhana too. if ishwari was taking care of suhana sonakshi would get to take care of ayush.

also ayush seems sacred of ishwari. i felt he almost ate that food in hurry in fear. ishwari thinks the pota is away or 8 years he has come back he will bond instantly coz he is their dna & khoon. It dosent happen that way. for him rohit only is his dad. Things happening too soon for ayush . He is dealing with death here. he should have been left with his grandparents for a month or two coz thats the family he knows. removing him off from his family to an unknown family is not helping him. Right now the only bit of bonding he feels is with dev.

Lovely post! It is such a difficult situation for the whole family and particularly for Sona.

Also, it was nice that Dev asked Sona the reason for the hesitancy. If it were Sona of the old, she would have voiced out her concern. But now, there is some hesitancy in voicing out her exact thoughts. Like even if she says it out loud, it may go unheard. That is the real issue (i hope).

Dev relates to Ayushman is for everyone to see. For Sona of S1 who was so accepting of others in the family (new rishta will complete not compete mold), now finds herself torn. Affection for a child, especially motherly is not a switch to be turned off or on. Hope they show this journey Sona takes towards Ayushman with the help of Dev. If it is Sona for Sona and Dev for Ayush (by default Ishwari), that might not be so pleasant.

Sona must get some courage and act wisely

Nothing is lost

She must be actually happy she got her son back

Ayush behaves like Dev

Having a son like Dev , who loves Maa more than any thing she is blessed to have him.

After Ayush, Sona is the next worst hit person by this news. She wanted to give Ayush time to adjust, but she herself was silently begging for time to process it all.
She has seen the dynamics that exist in this household and is automatically playing out the worst case scenario in her head.
Plus right now her relationship with Dev is not exactly how it used to be. She no longer feels connected to him and has been made aware that even outsiders are noticing the buzz missing.

So she will notice every action and reaction of Dev and Ishwari and only focus on impact on Soha.

Ayush is her blood but she might indirectly reject him to show support to Soha.

Yeah ishwari is behaving exactly like how she behaved with soha... But there is a difference, soha had mother, and she knew her father/paternal family is not there... So she believed when truth came out plus even soha took time to called Dev 'papa'...but here ayush had an entire different family, now suddenly his father has died and he had to accept sudden new whole family, with sudden new mannerisms so ishwari's behaviour is going to scare him more

And that dev-sonakshi conversation, I also feel Sonakshi needs to communicate and tell dev whatever she is feeling.... because she is witnessing what ishwari is doing not dev, and she exactly witnessed same behaviour earlier from ishwari 8yrs back...so she needs to tell dev how she felt at that time, soha is going to feel same because of ishwari... But I guess this is exactly the theme of krpkab 3 , how after 9 yrs , there is a communication gap, that love is somewhere lost
