Thank you for the tag. Wow you ladies are on a roll today 36 pages and counting 🤗 I have just managed to catch-up on all the episodes and have to say Aditya is on 🔥.
Just loving the way he in owning his truth and holding there relationship together. He is giving her the saath he promised when he both realised and accepted the relationship. Finally people can realise that he is in it for the long hall and he meant it which each word and action of his. I hope people will put to rest the whole Maline return phase. He is done for his simple act of owning there relationship both in public and private shows he comfortable and happy.
I am glad for one that the makers have touched upon this angle in there relationship. It would have been easy if everyone had just said it’s fine for in reality we all know that’s not the case. I remember talking about perceptions and emotions yesterday and today we got a glimpse of that today.
We knew that the society angle of drama was coming but as much as we say it doesn’t matter people will always judge and talk. It was nice that see that Aditya love knows how to deal with the negativity without fear. Poor imlie has always been judged so she knew what was coming and why but for her to be given a pillar that loves her for whom she is, is refreshing to see.
It’s easy to walk with someone when times are easy but the real test comes when we are thrown stones. These snippets of hate and remarks are the very fact why they will come through shinning because they will both gain the love and acceptance they deserve from the family.
For me as much as Aparna words makes me just want to at her. I can understand the reluctance because it is something she had not wanted and never thought of. We always knew the tripati family believed in offering the image of a perfect family we have seen this in Rupi case whom is seen as the bad apple on the bunch. Everyone does that to some extent so why would I expect them to be any different.
The simple fact is that these preceptions is what he is fighting for he is okay at there hurt over the lie but it’s the issue and labels that have him rattled. I have to agree with him once position and value is not determined by the job they do. If that was the case Maline should have been more compassionate but we have seen that is not the case. Each step taken is calculated and one that makes her shine above the rest. Not once has she taken blame upon herself of why her marriage failed. She knew there were cracks even before they married for he would be aloof and hide behind work.
The other point I have to laugh at is that Dev in all this has not been questioned once about his actions. None have said that he has wronged a woman and with it imlie. They have simply shown his act is acceptable as he is married in the eyes of the society and as Maline is born with a surname his deeds can be washed as it can be hidden with money. Why is he not deemed any less. He is simply spineless.
Even today they are willing to parade her around there function knowing full well what she is doing is what her father did all those years ago. What was his excuse and what is hers. She has been given a free pass of victim but everyone else are gold diggers. It shows eduction doesn’t automatically make one street wise so forth. Money can be earned but manners that a life then to built. The respect that imlie is still showing the family shows the value she holds of them and the relationship she had with Aditya. He has said it so many times that if she wanted money all she had to do was ask.
In his case they just want to see what they want and most of the time that has nothing to do with the truth. In this case both dev and Maline have turned a blind eye. This is what I feel apu has done too because she doesn’t want to acknowledge that her son is will to move on and be the man he has always longed to be. She cannot handle the fact that he is willing to fight for someone they feel is so opposite to him and I somewhat feel that they family never knew there children to begin with.
So why cannot they see Aditya truth and his feelings. Why don’t they measure his actions and question him on his stand. These are the things I wish they would focus on then simply a label. There will be a time we’re they simple will stop exposing them self because they will be tired and realise that these people are living in a different place. There failures today to understand is why imlie and Aditya will be stronger in the future for there relationship is being tested before it has begun. If I be honest they have been a team from day one may that have been hiding the truth and the there failure to share it earlier. At least they own there flaws and try to resolve them with pride.
It’s intentions do not matter and this is why imlie and Aditya love is so free and as there marriage was never of control. This is why they blossomed and are growing forward because of the freedom to do what they felt right they realised and learnt to love each other all the more. This is why Aditya is so happy and has been able to tell people in the college of his pride in her and there love because she has given him the choice and wings to do so.
As he said in the start a relationship only becomes a cage when the partner is not right but the right partner can only make one fly to each greater heights. She has done that for him without even having to be there all the time.
Sorry to say Maline never offered him that choice and his family lack of understanding is why they are at crossed roads. They will see why imlie and Aditya work but that will take time.
This is his week to shine and next will be hers so I say bring on the cooking contest it might make them realise that Maline may not have known there son as well as she claimed. Her chop would be priceless.
