Tbh, if makers intended to take the victim route through SunKe, they should've shown it better. This is a sensitive matter and they had full potential at their disposal to portray it — like you and Inu pointed out, her childhood gives her the perfect checklist of falling prey to Sunny. But they intended to show Sunny as a positive grey, good bonding with both Raghav and Pallavi, then suddenly changed track later. So right now it's all a botched up mess that can't be rooted for in any way

@bold- Couldn't possibly agree more. All my analysis on Kirti right now is just to make some sense of the plot, else mere liye show dekhna mushkil ho jaata hai, and I may be taking a break, but I'm not ready to quit.

I don't think they were planning this plot for Sunny at all. It's just, since day 1, the character got such negative reception, usko full blown villain bana daala. Back then, I felt genuine affection from him for Kirti. And I will never forget the episode he drove Raghav to the train station. And then his scenes with Pallavi, helping her with the necklace thing. I loved them finding this begrudging alliance, there was so much potential. Wasted potential, poora ka poora. And uske saath saath Kirti ke character ko bhi destroy kar daala.

True, and he was one of rare few in the Marathi industry who is/was flaunting their well built body.
