I was catching up on some of the posts and couldnt go beyond Page 10 ... to not sure if you guys have already spoken about all of this.... Adi ka Imlie ko dhoondne jana was not pagalpan at all... woh to on the Richter scale a 0.001 tha... Abhi Adi is running red hot at over 8.5 ... To intensity will be that much more... and abhi dhikana is apt I feel.

Khaas kar tab when the realisation hits that he feels things that he had assured her he never will... Pyaar, iss hadd tak... and iss qadar...

possessiveness... sab kuch matlab...

Hopefully this will help her let go finally...

Mujhe yeh hypocrisy samajh nahi aati... on one hand you say you went for the sister... and friend... but you were more interested in talking to your mom (in the ink throwing episode), Aparna (in the photo wala coming out episode), Aparna again (in the "Throw imlie out" wala episode)... so where is your didi prem?

Yes I agree with everything you said. Perception of perfection always makes people judge only on the outer shell without considering the actual personality. It is easy for Aparna to hold on to Malini's perception rather than accept that lmlie fulfills all the requirements she wanted in her bahu. That is why she refuses to recognise what is in front of her - her son has changed his perception and she also needs to do the same.

Word to how people even today seem woke, but judge others first on their pehnava then anything else.

Difference between Malini and Imlie were always visible and somewhere perceptible even to the T's. But they would rather have shallow perfection rather than go for depth which would require them to introspect and fight with society to justify their choice.

Hey Aps, thank you for the lovely words and i will definitely be joining on more in these discussions as we call can relate work gets in the way but these threads have been a live saver when I am still catching up on the show.

You have said it so well aparna is yet to see and understand the gem that imlie really is. The shallow perceptions come from the life long circle they have been in. They have stayed within there comfort zone and stuck to the society they knew. Just because you are aware of trends and issues doesn’t mean you are open minded. One has to educate once self and be brave to be different. Aditya has always been a man of his own choices and decisions and this is why he can walk the path he does.

I feel the family will grow once the accept this truth and will learn to grow with them. It takes time and patience. It’s the fear of losing face that hold them back but for every one person they may lose they will find another whom can make they’re life more colourful and fulfilling.

The judgement part is what I feel makes Aditya more livid for whom are they to judge her parentage or up bringing. As he said when they have not lived his or her truth how can they decide what is right from wrong. If we way this out then morally Maline actions today are also not acceptable to the society they claim such high regard off.

Because Maline is actually doing what he father did 20 years ago and is neither being judge or questions just like her father was not all those moons ago. How can we say dev actions were morally correct because imlie is her and suffering because of his lie to start with. In that way he has no respect either or is it that those sins can be washed away as they have money.

Perfection they hide behind for know is money and this is the very notion that has never bothered Aditya even when he dated her for he liked Maline for her thoughts and not her wealth as her mother would claim. This is why he had fallen in love with imlie because his soul feel the emotion and spiritual connect that lacked in Maline. That’s why he feel guilty and admits he should have never married her to start with.
