So true. Completely agree with you on this. It is the only solution, but will again lead to more problems, but still better than dealing with her.

Adi feels guilty of mistaking a general friend feelings for love and ruining Malini's life, because he is a good person who only judges her based on the views she has shared with him and not her parentage. If he had, he would have never continued being in a relationship with her knowing her mother's personality and her father's inability to do anything more than a "Stop it Anu". While Adi did not know about Dev when he was with Malini, yet even after finding out, he never measured her on his scale.

That is why he is perplexed as to why the very parents who have taught him all this are not able to adhere by their teachings. He is not able to realise that the saying that it is always easier to preach rather than to practice what you preach, is there for a reason. Like Aparna said that they have never needed to justify their choices, because their choices were always safe and as per norms. Right now they feel they do not have the strength to do so, but slowly as Imlie shows them just how perfectly she fits in their family, they will also slowly come around to loving her once again.

Agree to EVERYTHING but the one in bold Aps! I mean dont you feel its very hollow of the Tripathi's if they accept Imlie BECAUSE she "fits" in their family and not because Adi CHOSE her or the fact that they love each other or that she was married to him?

Just voicing my thoughts...I dont think its fair if the Ts accept her because of that... I mean what if Adi had fallen in love with someone who is not very "Imlieish" 😅..someone who is not from their expectations, and was married to Adi?
