You have said it so well aparna is yet to see and understand the gem that imlie really is. The shallow perceptions come from the life long circle they have been in. They have stayed within there comfort zone and stuck to the society they knew. Just because you are aware of trends and issues doesn’t mean you are open minded. The judgement part is what I feel makes Aditya more livid for whom are they to judge her parentage or up bringing. As he said when they have not lived his or her truth how can they decide what is right from wrong. If we way this out then morally Maline actions today are also not acceptable to the society they claim such high regard off.

Because Maline is actually doing what he father did 20 years ago and is neither being judge or questions just like her father was not all those moons ago. How can we say dev actions were morally correct because imlie is her and suffering because of his lie to start with. In that way he has no respect either or is it that those sins can be washed away as they have money.

Perfection they hide behind for know is money and this is the very notion that has never bothered Aditya even when he dated her for he liked Maline for her thoughts and not her wealth as her mother would claim. This is why he had fallen in love with imlie because his soul feel the emotion and spiritual connect that lacked in Maline. That’s why he feel guilty and admits he should have never married her to start with.

Adi feels guilty of mistaking a general friend feelings for love and ruining Malini's life, because he is a good person who only judges her based on the views she has shared with him and not her parentage. If he had, he would have never continued being in a relationship with her knowing her mother's personality and her father's inability to do anything more than a "Stop it Anu". While Adi did not know about Dev when he was with Malini, yet even after finding out, he never measured her on his scale.

That is why he is perplexed as to why the very parents who have taught him all this are not able to adhere by their teachings. He is not able to realise that the saying that it is always easier to preach rather than to practice what you preach, is there for a reason. Being right is easier than standing by what's right and fighting with societal norms for your choice is that much more difficult.

Like Aparna said that they have never needed to justify their choices, because their choices were always safe and as per norms. Now when asked to choose Imlie as their bahu, they will need to go against norms and soch to establish a new normal. Right now they feel they do not have the strength to do so, but slowly as Imlie shows them just how perfectly she fits in their family, they will also slowly come around to loving her once again.

BK ka funda clear tha that he would drink most of the chai before throwing it, coz pata nahi phir kab mile. Pata hai nautanki karna hai, nahi toh biwi se maar khayega, so smartly aadhi cup almost peeke sirf baaki ki aadhi chi phenki.

Yeh but generic hain re .. matlab in movies also if there was a triangle the 3rd person was killed in end and a dying person is always shown mahaan in 2000 they started adding the 4th person to let tht 3rd person move on but here this lady doesn’t want to move so they will have to kill her 🤪
