I am reminded of the promo for the show - wherein Pallavi withdraws her hand when Aayi tries to put mehendi on her and you have Raghav introduction. I really want a scene where Raghav asks Pallavi to put lots of Mehendi on her hands with his name on it. Usually in Telugu we do have a small festival during the Karthik month wherein married women put Gorintaaku(The Henna plant leaves) and pray to Shiva in the night. Since I come from Godavari area during Karthik month you can see women going to the ghats with all the married finery and floating a diya in the river. The sight truly was beautiful. Sigh sometimes I miss my native place so much.

So you are Telugu? But the title Sharda is Maharashtrian right?

I don't rewatch emotional scenes in MHRW more than 2-3 times mostly. Still Chalka Re Chalka was one of the scene which affected me a lot. Shivangi have portrayed the hidden pain of Pallavi fantastically. That one scene made me fall in love with Shivangi's acting

The most memorable green I can remember her in was the neon green when Vijay comes to drag her home during the necklace theft track. That sari toh I didn't like much. The emerald green sari she wore when Sunny came to their house to return the 5cr + interest of Rs. 11- that was super pretty on her, wish they'd had it for longer than half an episode.

I am maharastrian but brought up in Andhra. So my friend circle is all Telugu and I grew up in that culture. My dad was working in Rajahmundry and so my schooling was all there. I stayed in Rajahmundry for close to 20 years and my parents continued to stay there till my mom passed away. Rajahmundry is still my home though my paternal grandparents were from Pune/Kolhapur.

That emerald green was so beautiful. I am disappointed that they gave us only a small scene in such a pretty look 😒
