Why did Twinkle marry Akshay and not Karan? - Page 4

Akshay is a better person than Karan. Being Karan's wife or friend seems to be like living in an Indian soap opera - never ending drama. Akshay, for all his fakeness, doesn't appear as mean or twisted like Karan.

Twinkle saying that Karan supposedly only 'had a crush' on her could also be JUST Twinkle's perception of it? Not Karan's. And KJo saying that Twinkle was the ONLY girl he loved, among all girl's that he knew (ofcourse romantically in the context in which he was asked that question by Akshay) - says it all as well and you perhaps chose to ignore that.

The Reporter's 'interpretation' was pretty bang on, as one doesn't need to go too far to interpret something that's pretty much common sense from the obviousness of it. Lol

I had a headache while reading some comments in this thread. Some of you are being mean to KJO on some different level which has nothing to do with his work.

Sexuality can't be identified just by looking at someone's face or the way they behave. He could be gay or BI, It's his choice/preference. I'm sure you all are (or mostly) educated people but the way you guys are discussing sexuality or laughing at him for looking in a certain way or not being "enough" handsome; says otherwise.

No wonder our society is full of hypocrites who'd go on bu**ying people for things then cry a river for another when it fits their agenda.

Twinkle seems like a very practical, grounded woman. I strongly disagree. It is believed that Karan drove Priyanka Chopra out of BW and also destroyed Parineeti's career. The means he used to lift Alia at the cost of others career is also widely rumoured. In his own show, he has admitted to contributing to blinds, which are mostly quite nasty as well as the demeaning questions he asks about outsiders on his chat show were viral a year ago. Nothing evil about working with who you want to but certainly evil to try to destroy others careers and use your clout to snatch others projects & give them to your favs. Karan is openly bitchy because he is fond of flaunting his powers and knows he can get away with it. More to do with shamelessness than honesty there.

There were many, many accused of the Me Too movement, not solely Akshay. It is believed that the most powerful names never made it to the news. So, with the Me Too criteria, a lot of persons will be worse than Karan, if he is blameless himself. Anyways, I never claimed Akshay to be a person to look up to apart from his fitness regime & discipline, the effects of which can be seen.

The question was why Twinkle choose Akshay over Karan for marriage and for all the above reasons, I feel that Akshay is the better one and as per me, that would be an important consideration in a life partner.

The stuff about the Chopra sisters is complete BS. PC is still sucking up to KJo, going on every season of KwK, following him on instagram (and so is her little white husband) and invited him to her wedding too. She was flopping in India and relegated to C-grade films like Jai Gangajal or supporting roles like in Bajirao Mastani so she decided to try her luck elsewhere. Good for her because now she can maintain some relevance as a socialite/influencer which would not have happened either if she stayed in India.

As for Parineeti, Dharma gave her one of her only good films Hasee To Phasee and kept her afloat with Kesari when she was completely drowning. KJo owes neither sister anything. This kind of entitlement is just funny.

Other people being accused also doesn't excuse Akshay. Other people being murderers doesn't mean being a murderer is a good thing. You claimed Akshay is a better person than KJo which he most certainly is not. Twinkle married someone who is straight, plain and simple. KJo is gay so there was no chance anyway.
