And Adi’s guilt trip starts. I wish story proceeds in a progressive way on how both the girls proceed in their life and succeed.

I am actually dreading that moment and hoping that it will come only after Adi & Imlie get accepted and are formally married. Coz otherwise it will just lead to more guilt trips and unnecessary drama, that will just aggravate things and our patience.

I also hope they show it better than they did in the OG. That one was just difficult to read, forget watch.

The problem with senior Ts is, they did not see the life and death situation that Adilie faced, their thinking is only limited to their society and their workplace. I understand it is very hard for them to even imagine the experiences that Adi and Imlie faced in PD.

With Anu’s intervention, Adi did not get enough time and opportunity to explain the situations he faced. Among all the senior folks in the show the only person understood Adi even though she got to hear truth from pari that is Adi is married for the second time was Meethi. She was able to understand as she has more life experiences and more struggles compared to anyone in the show.

There is a saying right “All that glitters is not gold”. Ts yet to realize that just bcoz Malini is perfect on paper to introduce as their bahu, she is just glittering but not gold.

The one feature that differentiates from masses and the leader is power to explain and lead the masses. Here both Adi and Imlie can do that. From the beginning the tracks concentrated on how Imlie can change the thinking of the people and therefore the society. Imlie through her acts and Adi through his voice. Both characters complement each other.

I think this track of changing the thinking of their family and society that a person’s social status shouldn’t lay boundaries for the persons dreams and relationships is going to be very interesting and beautiful.

I get where you are coming from. The reason I said that their journey will be similar is because both tried to reject a truth that was clear to them from day one - That Aditya was married to Imlie. Adi rejected it because he was committed to Malini & his pride & ego took a huge hit. Aparna is rejecting it because her social conditioning does not allow her to easily to accept someone below her social standing to be called her son's life partner. Both of them use their inherent issues to lash out at the easiest target - Imlie. While Adi's ego was hurt, Imlie had no hand in that and had even worse consequences to face than he did. That time when she had no one, Aparna supported her and loved her like a mother, and even stood up to her son multiple times for mistreating her.

Aparna does not inherently believe in what she is saying right now. If she did, she would have never berated Adi for keeping Imlie out of his room, for whatever reason. The issue now is that Aparna is unable to accept Imlie as her bahu. Not because Imlie did something wrong, but because she is afraid of facing the society and defending her son's decision. She feels that society will judge them and she is not prepared to face that. So she is using every trick in the book to alienate Imlie to either give up or move on from her son. This means that she will not have to do anything and things will be back to status quo, including her behavior with Imlie. But now Imlie has a solid support system, with a lot of people behind her, biggest of which is Adi, who is willing to go against everyone just to get her the place she deserves. This makes Aparna feel even more like things are going out of hand, so she tries getting more vicious to convince herself and others that Imlie is not worth being with them because of her paidaish. She is trying to throw everything on the wall to see what sticks. But beech beech mein that façade slips, when Imlie tries to reason with her or reach out to that mother in her who is attached to Imlie even now. That is why she reacts exactly like Adi by bargaining with her, so that again things go back to status quo.

So while I agree that Aparna's redemption will be different to Adi's, she is also suffering like Adi was. Rejecting years of conditioning and mindset is the most difficult thing to do, specially when you are challenged on your belief system everyday. You know your conditioning is wrong, but most people do not have the courage to break it easily. Imle and Adi are right now trying to chip away at that conditioning to get back the purane T family who fell in love with Imlie and still care for her even today.

Exactly Aps ! Its the same thing, what I was trying to say is that though both of them were trying to deny a truth that is Adi and Imlie's marriage, the base on which both of them were denying were different. Adi posses greater values and morals that ironically his mother taught him. Thats why his insults were not that vicious too. Also while he had carried the guilt of betraying Malini, his biggest guilt was having to reject Imlie despite his conscience telling him he was her husband. So there is an underlying sense of concern he had been having for Imlie.

Even though Apu is taking the same path as him, her social conditioning is the base for her rejecting Imlie, which is more toxic compared to Adi's. Thats why I was vouching for a different redemption itself for her. And that is not going to be very easy because Adi will have to uproot a generation-old stigma. Hope I made myself clear 😅✌🏼

Aparna telling Imlie to forget her son, take off all the symbols of marriage..

This has come full circle with Aditya doing the same at the start to Imlie and now his maa to Imlie.. dono maa - bete me pisti jaa rahi hai Imlie. 😭

Imlie is sitting forlornly in her kona, as she has nowhere else to be in the T house.. her only safe spot… when her buddy.. Sundar bless his heart brings her a plate of dinner. Imlie jumps in joy asking who sent the plate of food for her, was it CK, BK, the kakis who??? Sundar tries to say all.. and evades the query.. when Imlie understands that none sent it for her..😭 she then hears Adi saying let us eat. He then takes the plate from Sundar, grabs her hand and takes her to the dining room where all the T’s are seated. Imlie is still standing by the side n Apu starts off with her taunts.. she is one strong fiery saasuma who has her parivar in her control.. says she won’t eat if aire gaire are seated at the table with her.. walks off with her nose in the air, followed by her joru ka ghulam…. PT then BK who walks with his plate 🤣

bet who does not want to go to bed on an empty stomach... bechaara acidity ho jayegi...unko...🤣

Radha reminds NishVi n Rupi to toe the line else there will hell to pay.. Adi busy eating and telling Imlie to sit..I am really mad at the makers hers .. why oh why…. did we not get a visual of seeing Adilie eat together or how she felt seated at the table, eating when everyone else left… horrid to imagine, let alone eat a morsel of food… Imlie looked stricken.. caught between maa - beta… pisti jaa rahi rai..bechaari…

Cut to the next scene, that felt a bit abrupt...

Ah I loved this scene of Adi going to his parents room to apologize for not revealing the truth sooner, for keeping it from them.. they were not in a mood to listen and soon escalated into a war of words… Apu threw down the gauntlet saying fine you want her to stay here, then she stay but only as a MAID, nothing more nothing less….. Aditya zapped to see this thinking of his parents who has raised him to be bold, fearless, speak the truth at all times. He became a journalist to change the mindset of the people, to show them a mirror that their thinking was low, backward, regressive etc etc.. only to see the very same in his own house.

This maa - beta confrontation was something I was looking forward to very much as they are alike and their clash would be epic…

Apu pleading and trying to reason with Adi that Imlie tricked him into letting her stay, finagled her way into their life, their house, his life… Adi is such an innocent guy that he got conned by Imlie. wah wah.. what a low blow that was to your son…Emotional blackmail what else to say here..

True it was a sight to see when Adi got enraged, beyond reason and did the unthinkable… raised his voice against his maa, said he will show her. This guy is fearless when speaking the truth, minces no words and believes in doing what he says..feels.

Aap ne apna faisla suna diya na, aap bhi hamara faisla sun lijiye…Imlie humari patni hai.. aur use saare adhikaar dilakar rahenge.. AAJ SE ABHI SE.. this was so well done by Adi.. in full rudra avatar…

Goes off to Imlie’s kona and says come with me.. grabs her potli n she says my books… he is like leave them aside.. just come with me..

He goes towards his room with Imlie following like an innocent lamb… and we see the entire T clan following them…

This was so funny to see… when they realized the manzil was Adi’s room.. 🤣 their JAWS DROPPED

Adi voiced what we had all yelled yesterday as long as she was in the kona, they were fine with it… when it came to accepting Imlie as a person with rights, then they back pedaled so fast, it left burns on the ground… They all full of HOT AIR, ALL TALK and no substance. This was very evident when they refused to accept Imlie or listen to Adi explain. They are willing to LAY the ENTIRE BLAME on Imlie's shoulders and none on Aditya... he was CONNED.. This drove me mad... when they said this, cannot see beyond their nose, their izzat, their guroor...

Imlie held him back to say his family is hers also but they are not.. so she will not step in till she is accepted by the elders. Aparna was so mad and enraged to see Imlie hold her son’s hand.. the full maa ka avatar in rudra roop… PT heaved a sigh of relief when he heard Imlie's promise that she wont step into his room.. BK was like are you not going to be ashamed of your actions, like Adi was embracing his wife in front of his family and was going to have his wicked way with her, once they stepped across the threshold...

The elders taunt Adi for being so shameless… and Adi is like what is shameful in taking my wife to my room… He listens and truly is supportive to Imlie.. wait here... and goes off...

Finally most of us had predicted that Aditya will move into the kona, next to Imlie.. lays out his bed. that was a rather SAD looking mattress.. wondering if it offer a comfortable night of sleep to Adi babu...

Waise kahan he is going to sleep peacefully while he has his patni.. beside.. to gaze at... haii the possibilities and khayali pulao started already..

Sadly we were denied any visuals, and like all good things, we have to wait patiently for them to be delivered.

Mithi - Imlie meet up where SK - M are returning back to PD. Imlie says that the family knows the truth n tries to cover up.. as usual. Mithi is a Smart cookie and hugs for burrowing out the truth from Imlie who was just putting on a brave front, breaks down completely when faced with SK-M visiting the T's.. Glad this came about and the words of wisdom from Mithi was awesome.

She encouraged her Imliya to be brave, not to lose himmat.... as she has NEVER FAILED in any exam ever and has been a topper. Only this exam is going to be more difficult than the previous ones..she is going to ACE it and come out a winner, making her place in the hearts of the family who will accept her as 'Ghar Ki Lakshmi'.

The 2 T ladies off to the mandir and see Imlie. Apu againt tries her saasuma wiles on her, ordering Imlie to remove her MS, sindoor and remain as before when she will be accepted again. Imlie refuses and says she has done that once before but NEVER AGAIN. This is the Imlie that we all want to see, who is slowly fighting for her rights.. she is emboldened by Adi's support and he is proving it to her with his every action and word.

Also talk of moo dikhai rasam for Pallavi.. sure something is going to happen where Imlie will be insulted and adi will get mad.. as seen in the precap - He refuses to attend if Imlie is treated as a maid, she will come as his patni.
