I hope Shiva retreats into silence , because I think that's the one way for Raavi to really realise how much Shiva's hurt and how deeply. Because he's always been there like background noise, constant and I think someone she takes for granted as always being there - she even drew a tiny devil shiva in the Raavi 💜 Dev page.

It's always struck me Shiva's an all or nothing guy , he doesnt do anything half way (kinda takes after dhara in that, maybe) which explains the intensity of all his feelings for Raavi.

In some ways she's the one char whose head I just can't get into. I love her, and Alice does a great job, but from the snatches of the tamil version I watched, mullai was v diffrent and older I'd say. I hope this track also gives us something of Raavis fears of being abandoned and rejection;just something about baggage of growing up an orphan and being brought up my mami. Something beyond I dunno happy go lucky.

Strangely I relate to Rishita the most. She's given up a familiar world where she was loved and spoilt, for a far less comfortable home, all for one boy. Shes defied society and now belongs nowhere . Shes not yet ,like most new brides found her footing in her in laws home, and she doesnt have the emotional support of a maternal home right now.

Plus shes the outsider in more ways than one. Raavi has known the Pandyaas forever, shes practically family anyway, despite mami being a psycho. Dhara and her share this unspoken bond of having lost their parents ,and growing up parentless. Raavi is theirs .Rishita is yet to become.The constant repetition of izaat , is i think her way of saying nobody sees her or hears what she's trying to say. When you respect someone ,you hear them out ,even when they're being irrational or stupid on somedays. Rishita is yet to learn that ,that respect is something you earn. Plus I guess she's terrified of her own father -and facing the fact that hes a bully and a monster at worst. Not easy.

Also Suman's sass and all makes for cute dialogue, but it just to me highlights the pseudo progress most shows have. It's still a your family or husbands . Pick one narrative , and tbh I think what she said to Rishita lacked sensitivity and just played into stereotypes.
