Malaal e yaar was good... Mohlat again a daily is good.... I feel it's content n both daily or weekly can be good but weekly is more content packed...
Watching dil na ummed to nahi n i feel a biweekly would be better
Dailies can sometimes be good. Malaal-e-Yaar was biweekly though which aired Wednesday-Thursday nights and it was excellent because despite larger episode count, it still was interesting and did well. Problem with weekly is that sometimes channels drag the weekly to the point where you give up on it ending. For example, Raqs-e-Bismil, despite being a good show had almost 6-7 weeks of no progress and same goes for many dramas like Kasa-e-Dil on Geo, Prem Gali on ARY. Problem with daily dramas right now (at least the last 1-2 season of dramas and this season) is that they end up becoming time fillers; Uraan was only meant to be 27 episodes and went to 45.. even HUM biweeklies lost plots just 20 episodes in.
However if you want to binge-watch, it really does not matter. You'll be watching in one go and if you want something shorter go for weeklies.

I tried watching yar na bichray .. but the lead was his sis in law in malaal.. so i just couldnt connect with them as a couple..
what i liked in malaal e yaar was that despite him being uneducated and feudalistic he never (except for the once ) forced anything on her.. he treated her as an equal.. when she calles him to scold him for telling everything to amber he comes and the way he handles her was with alot of care.. even later.. he didnt behave hyper jealous like the other dramas where the guy on basic suspicion kicks the lead out..
i found thier relationship one of equal even when they are fighting to when they fall in love..
any other serial like that ?
