IPL's opening match

The inaugural match of IPL was held between SRK's Kolkata Knight Riders and Vijay Mallya's Bangalore Royal Challengers. The combination of Bollywood and cricket was replete with stars.

Shahrukh was there with his team which included wife Gauri, Arjun Rampal and Juhi Chawla. Vijay Mallya was there with Shilpa Shetty, Shilpa's mother and Zayed Khan. We spoke to some cricket crazy fans in Bollywood to find out what they thought of IPL's opening match.

Rakhi Sawant: "I did see the match and enjoyed it. Bangalore Royal Challengers will definitely improve and would probably win the series because the ones who lose initially win at the end. But I regret that the Men in Blue are playing differently for different teams."

Arbaaz Khan: "Sadly I was shooting so I missed the match but my friends told me that Brendan McCullum's innings was great. I'm a big fan of Brendan so I'm really happy."

Rahul Bose: "I enjoyed myself completely during the match. IPL is going to help everyone. It would bring up new cricketers from the grass-root level. It's a good event from the marketing angle. Basically IPL has revolutionized cricket."

Minisha Lamba: "I was shooting yesterday so unfortunately I couldn't watch the match."
