What is the definition of common sense?

I dont know exactly coz i havent checked the dictionary as yet

But this is my simple definition

An interpretation of our five senses!

What we see hear etc

There was a thread on psychology in the forum which i didnt participate coz i am more keen on discussing on common sense

This is how i look at it

As humans we do not require psychological expertise to understand things

We just need to utilise our common sense which GOD has gifted us as an inner inheritance disclosed in our brains naturally

Unfortunately that wonderful gift is ignored and kept aside which puts us into trouble

Referring to tejo and fateh

One psychologist the other boxer

Both common sense factor is down

And what causes

The blinded love for that one particular person

Jasmin!

Who seemed to be currently utilising the reverse psychology approach

A very clever game of mind to achieve a goal

Despite being younger than the duo victims

Whats the main reason

She is not blinded with love

She never loved them truly in the first place

If she had she wont be doing what she's doing rite now

Giving them pain and sorrow in the long run as a result of her deeds

In a nutshell the blind love is the main cause of why common sense blows out of the window

Take for example

Youngsters taking away their own lives coz their love cheated on them

Never think about their parents

Other examples

Husband runs away with another woman and wife takes away her life living behind little kids

Who's going to take care of them?

Never thought for once

Have many examples but dont want to make the post lengthy

Why do we have crimes in the first place?

Why the insanity behind minor rape cases ?

The simple answer

Common sense blew out of the window

The main culprit behind human wrong doings and mistakes

Lack of common sense!

The same in itv serials

Villains have more common sense than the leads!

The fact is and always will be that things in everyday life are very straightforward, easily seen and understood through common sense. The complication only comes when emotions are involved. We are not emotionally attached to Jasmine, but they are. Emotions are currently blinding them and its fine (to a certain extent) cause a lot of us here have overlooked several things because of emotions.

And emotions are not inherently bad, it is what makes us human. It is Jasmine who should be ashamed for playing with the emotions of FaTejo.

I see what you are saying and completely agree. Fateh and Tejo both need to remove the blindfold of love and see Jasmine as the manipulative person she is!

Thats my point

Not only coz of blind love but also they need o observe her behaviour as well

Why cant they see it

And for the emotions part agree fully

We humans are defined by our emotions

And thus gives in to it

But just want to add here that the common sense factor which is part of our mental capability need to be taken into consideration when it comes to emotional grounds as it would hinder from making further mistakes or taking any drastic actions

As they say both mental and emotions need to be balanced at the same time to make rational decisions

And it differs among humans

Thats why some manages to overcome their enotions effectively

And others takes drastic step

Take a good example of fateh

Initially how was he when fatejo got married

Broken

Emotionally grounded

The boxing match was where finally he overcomed his emotional disturbance due to his ex and gave in to his rational thoughts when he won at the last moment which became a motivator factor eventually as he realised that he was able to overcome that disturbing emotional effects

And that fateh had changed gradually with time
