Hey everyone,

I guess it's my opinion but I feel that Indians always think that Canada is only known for 2 cities: Toronto and Vancouver.. because everyone talks about these 2 places.

Canada has other provinces like Alberta, Prairies, Manitoba that offer opportunities for everyone..

Honestly, I like the names - Mississauga, Saskatchewan, Nova Scotia, Montreal (Quebec), Calgary( Alberta), Nunavut, Yukon etc. Nice names you have got there, haha.

🤗

Yeah, nice places but I kinda like the names of these places too. Besides, I can’t speak for everybody but I think people have heard of other places out there too. It just so happens that most people visit Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal etc for vacations unless they have more time to cover other places or visit family and friends.

That’s great! I visited Canada, this time, exactly 10 years ago back when I lived in NYC. Hope to explore more of Canada some day! Btw, how are you guys coping with the heat wave? The weather’s been real rough on North America this past year and the loss of lives due to this heat wave really saddens me.

It’s because a majority of our population lives around the 49th parallel, most of the density is in these cities. Locals will also say they’re from the large metropolitan for ease of understanding. For instance someone from Delta will just say “Vancouver” because it’s easier than explaining it’s a different municipality that’s 20 minutes away. Same with Toronto.
