I agree with everything you've said. Raghav's not thinking long term- he thinks him being convicted will help 'close' the case, but you're right, there will be no end to taunts for Pallavi. Now she'll be the woman who was so unlucky for the Deshmukhs that their son died the day he married her, and not only that, she went ahead and married the man who killed him.

I'm assuming something big will have to happen to knock some sense into him, get him to start listening to the smarted alterego who has been telling him this is all wrong.

@bold: It is because she has went through the same thing. Her husband (and son) were killed and she never knew the entire truth for 10 long years. She has experienced first hand how unresolved issues destroys present and future. I also kind of think that she returning what Pallavi did by reducing the distance between her and Raghav, by paving the way to clear Mandar's death, get closure and move on truly.
