When I have enough resources I am going to file a petition in SC to make it mandatory for the shows to put short disclaimers on air time, where different actors from the show come up and describe whatever toxic is being shown in the show is just an act, and that’s not how real life should be. 😆😆

That's a really good move from your side to create awareness among young girls---and how they just tend to blindly follow the shows

good thing the producers decided to unfollow this trend and tried to create an equality between male and female but Alas...majority of the audience still loved the old concept of dominant and submissive and to maintain their show in the long run they started showing the same thing too--misogynist, abusive relationship

it's really disheartening to see young girls idolizing such type of relationship and willingly wanting to be in it--but in all this fairytale wishes of their they forget that the male they are idolizing is a completely different character in real life and all they see is a fiction

In real life, women who are married to the 'dark romantic heros' we see on TV, more often than not, end up battered or dead.

Arrey, intrusion kya 🤗 Always welcome to jump in, there are no private talks here.

I'm glad you remember that phase too. It disturbed me greatly.

It's leaps and bounds better now, there is no comparison.

Exactly and that's why u see most fandoms are crazy

A lot of teenage girls who are exposed to these shows and make it their life lessons and expect the same in reality .

They think way too emotionally about a lot of things and that's why it's important to be making shows which have better messages .

I dunno if anyone here has watched sasural genda phool

There suhana becomes an actress and keep crying and bearing violence in show

Seeing that her niece starts copying it at home and suhana gets shocked seeing how her show is affecting and structuring a small girl and decides to actually change what is being potrayed .

but the shows with better messages either go off air or they start following the same concept as other shows

i havent watched the show but will definitely search for it

I swear, not making it up. That was it for me, couldn't stick around.

I saw a Raghvi FF in wattpad where Raghav sexually assaulted Pallavi. I was so shocked and irritated to see how writer made it a small issue just because Raghav regretted doing it.

I am new to IF and all. And this is the only forum I visit. So I don't have any idea about things most of you have pinpointed.

and also not to forget that somewhere in the middle of the show the ML turns into a better person for some duration or FL changes his personality but in reality nothing of this sort happens.

@bold: I will make myself familiar with this. Sounds awesome though 👏
