I was happy that they didn't stick to the track by giving the saree opps pocha for staffs 😆

This is why Raghav buying that shocking saree for Pallavi didn't make sense. Glad they showed him realizing it himself.

Ved probably always planned the mind games, but he got a golden opportunity thanks to Sunny and Raghav. Through Sunny, he was able to figure out that Pallavi is tied to both Mandaar and Raghav, and Raghav showed his hand perfectly with "Pallavi ka naam mat le". It's been Ved's game through and through, and he's been dealing Raghav blow after blow, coming out victorious in every interaction.

That's why today's scene worked so well. Raghav may have beaten him up, but both of them knew, Ved won again.

I actually don't mind seeing Ved get the better of him. Coming from any other villain (say, a Sunny), I feel it would have undermined Raghav's character to be on such a backfoot, but because of Ved's history with Raghav, this works perfectly. He's just the right person to be pulling the strings. Also, with Ved getting win after win after win, it feels like we're being set up for Raghav's 'rising from the ashes' moment, and the worse he falls right now, the more glorious it will be when we get that.

I want him around during the Mandaar track too, because his methods add some flavor to the show that would keep it from becoming a typical, dramatic "pyaar vs farz" love triangle.

Yeah, Pallavi ka naam mat le was telling. I mean, he already saw Raghav trying to protect Pallavi in the past when the didn't know each other that well. Now she's his wife, so forget it.

I too want Ved to keep scoring points, make things tough for our leads and confuse them for a while. I mean, Raghav's physically strong and can beat anyone into pulp but his real strength is his mind, which Ved has effectively tried to shut down by distracting him with matters of the heart. Last time, Raghav was smart enough to send Amma and Keerti away to protect them, so that he'd be able to focus on handling Ved. This time it isn't happening and I'm a bit disappointed that Raghav isn't thinking of Amma and Keerti's safety. Just because Ved is focusing on Pallavi now doesn't mean he won't attack the rest of Raghav's family eventually.

I want Raghav to lose a few rounds and then see Raghav have his enough is enough moment, go all out to fix things. I miss his shrewd side and I know if he thinks strategically he can do wonders. For now, Ved's strikes are also going to show Raghav his own weaknesses, something that Raghav's already showing us he's aware of. The whole main kamzor nahin hai was more to convince himself than anyone else. 😵

Actually I'm not sure about movies. Perhaps it's other shows that aren't allowed? Sorry mods, please clarify.

Kya hame Raghav n Pallavi ka Tum Bin story track wala relation dekhne milega?

It would be so beautiful if they did develop such a track instead of the cliched ITV one. The movie version made it so believable.

Jagjit Singh's voice for Koi Faryaad... perfectly describes Raghav's feelings and how he views Pallavi, a strong woman who needs his saath, not sahaara. It also conveys how he reads the words and questions in her eyes. ❤️ CVs if you're reading this, please considering using this for Raghav and Pallavi. Check out the link to the video below, at 2:58 is exactly the way Raghav was introduced in the show but in a different setting, of course. 😉

Koyi fariyaad tere
Dil mein dabi ho jaise
Koyi fariyaad tere
Dil mein dabi ho jaise
Tune aankhon se koyi
Baat kahi ho jaise
Jaagte jaagte ek umr kati ho jaise
Jaagte jaagte ek umr kati ho jaise
Jaan baaki baaki hai
Magar saas ruki ho jaise

Jaanta hoon aapko
Sahare ki zarurat nahin
Main sirf saath dene aaya hoon

Har mulaakat pe
Mehsoos yehi hota hai
Har mulaakat pe
Mehsoos yehi hota hai
Mujhse kuch teri nazar
Pooch rahi ho jaise

Raah chalte huve aksar
Yeh ghumaan hota hai
Raah chalte huve aksar
Yeh ghumaan hota hai
Woh nazar chupke
Mujhe dekh rahi ho jaise
Woh nazar chupke
Mujhe dekh rahi ho jaise

Ek lamhe mein simat
Aaya hai sadiyon ka safar
Ek lamhe mein simat
Aaya hai sadiyon ka safar
Zindagi tej bahut tej chali ho jaise
Zindagi tej bahut tej chali ho jaise

Is tarah pehron tujhe
Sochta rehta hoon main
Is tarah pehron tujhe
Sochta rahta hoon main
Meri har saas tere
Naam likhi ho jaise
Meri har saas tere
Naam likhi ho jaise

Koyi fariyaad tere
Dil mein dabi ho jaise
Tune aankhon se
Koyi baat kahi ho jaise
Jaagte jaagte ek
Umr kati ho jaise
Jaan baaki baaki hai
Magar saas ruki ho jaise.

Pia and Shekhar's relationship was so poignant and pure. My favourite is Koi Fariyaad by Jagjit Singh

I was just writing about that song. Perfect fit for Raghav, his self-control around Pallavi is in many ways like Shekhar's.

@bold... 🤣 Yeh Anjali bhi na... 100+ episodes ke baad bhi sab ko yaad hai. She really made a great impact on us (and on Raghav too).

Absolutely, the ultimate defeat of the villain is made all the more compelling after he's scored some solid points of his own, and Ved is by far the most compelling antagonist we have so far. Raghav's one major loss away from his 'enough is enough' moment. Right now, he's in desperation, which is making him go haywire. I was thinking about when Raghav's shrewd, cold rage last came out- it wasn't in desperation, it was in vengeance. He wasn't trying to prevent anything from going wrong, he was avenging his sister and mother, who had been wronged already. Perhaps all the faux pas he's making from a security perspective are leading to something happening that hits not only him, but also Kirti/Jaya/Pallavi, which brings out that side of him. As you said, it blows my mind that he's not taken any security precautions for anyone actually. Despite Ved's explicit threats, there doesn't seem to be security detail on Pallavi or Kirti, who we've seen casually move in and out.

Farhad's been out of commission this week, and I look forward to how his presence will impact Raghav's frame of mind. He's someone Raghav trusts, probably more than he trusts anyone else, and he usually has extremely sound advice (whether Raghav listens or not is a different story)- he's the trustworthy, stable, voice of reason.
