I have been following yrkkh for almost a year now and few weeks back i saw an episode where ranveer's father was trying to malign sirat's image on front of everyone. she got up and threw a glass full of wather on him (who is her father-in-law) i don't know what to say on that. my mother has always told me to stand up for the right but not to disrespect someone and whatever sirat was unjustified as because she not only did it in a wrong way but she also disrespected him ans in the latest epsiode she called him papaji and he acted as if everything was fine. since yrkkh is being followed by so many youths i just want to know ur views whether the message given by these two scenes was justified or not?

The water thing was a dream sequence. And for context, Sirat's FIL has attempted murder on her & sh!t

But yeah, I get your point. Even Ranveer, who actually took the bullet, isn't that disrespectful of his father. Earlier before she accidentally hit Manish, she was threatening to hit him & charging towards him. Once she redirected an oncoming basketball towards Kartik's face. She has physically threatened Riya multiple times.

Sirat's behaviour has always been worse than a rattled stray dog with rabies. Because even they try their best to be civilised & don't hit the hand that feeds them.

I had just seen the scene so I'm so sorry if i went wrong there but i just wanted to say that the way she speaks with elders is not justified because even though she is independent she takes stand for herself she has to do it without disrespecting others because this is what she is teaching the people who wath the show and the babbar sherni one is underrated. It's so sick and I also don't understand the obsession fans have with her so called cute scenes which are utterly annoying

@bold - she is not independent AT ALL. She is one of the most dependent characters in this show. She only acts like she is tough some babbar sherni whereas in reality all her problems, ALL of them, have been and are being solved by hordes of men - her male friend, then her super rich crush, and her lifelong boyfriend/husband.

She only curses her luck and acts like she is some poor little girl. Very annoying character. Even a domestic abuse victim like Keerti had much more strength than this Sirat who acts like she is so tough. Yeah tough when she has to hit people who are of no threat to her. When real problem comes, she cant do anything.

and the less said about her “cute” scenes, the better.

I have been watching this show on and off since it’s inception. I watch some track, skip some but overall always kept looking in. It was good. Ever since her entry, I have stopped watching it altogether. She is that repulsive.

Also, courtesy addition that the one time Kartik hit her back, her reaction was 'Ladki ko maara?' 🤣
