Okay, so talking about characters...

Frankly speaking, I still dislike the Raghav Rao of the initial episodes... This is one reason why I never touch those initial episodes. Yes, he was shown to have a golden heart but frankly, I still do not like those episodes. That truck scene with Pallavi as well as that scene where he wiped her sweat with her pallu (never watched the entire scene to bas ye highlight yaad hai) were the most annoying ones for me. Also with his outright rude behaviour be it with Pallavi or with his house help, that kinda irked me.

So I'm kinda glad that the makers made changes in his character post the initial 15-20 episodes and toned him down... His behaviour towards Pallavi slightly changed and his rudeness with his staff to considerably decreased.

You can have different opinions but this is what I feel...

Kirti surely was a fabulous person, mature and sensible. I am highly annoyed by the way they flipped her character. Add to it the fact that they have legit turned her into a blind beetle. Matlab Sunny's behaviour is giving out so many red flags that this guy is just not right but she is still being blind towards him. Why aren't any warning bells ringing in her head?

Exactly! The way he talks, his mannerism everything screams something is wrong with him. Then how can someone like Keerti be blindly in love with him! 😲 😲 😲

Another thing that I kinda disliked was that she has given every bit of her details to Sunny, even the details about Raghav and Pallavi, their marriage and their relationship too. Whereas she doesn't have a single bit of information about him!! She doesn't know the names of his parents, nor does she know that he has a cousin...

Milind has always been kinda subdued in front of Sanki... But I guess the threat to kick him and his family out and then asking for rent would have impacted him badly... And maybe Sulo's words too affected him a bit. But I'm kinda glad it did impact him. No one deserves to be treated in this manner... (I generally skip Sanki's scenes so maybe there are some more instances which made Milind finally speak up)

Obviously! There's a limit to everyone's tolerance and Sanki thinks too high of himself. And what is he so proud of? He is the elder son so obviously he got bigger share or the house was named to him. Aisa kuch ukhad bhi nahi liya bas chillaye ja raha hain. 🤬 🤬 🤬

Sharda giving Sanki back nicely was really nice to see... Going by whatever she said, Sanki looks like one control freak person because she clearly said that Mandaar used to be hell scared of him and he used to hide behind her.

This is one more thing I hate. RR ki family ka kuch hota hai, it's given abrupt closure or done super fast but pallu ki family ke detailing hota hai about tracks.. When they suffer, it's not like am just being biased but observed it many times and it's irritating.

The only thing I appreciated was how RR farhad found all out, exposed and nikhil helped them. Am not saying Krishna cos she too had a very cold reaction in this!

So one track where the guys rocked and an applause to them!

That was surely overdone... That drinking water part was totally sick. It was the most disgusting part of the entire sequence... They could have managed pretty well without including the drinking part.

The entire Kirti fiasco was totally ruined... And here, the issue is not only the closure. The entire track was botched up. Kirti and Amma faced so much and Pallavi was blissfully unaware of the entire thing? This track required proper detailing but they just rushed it up.

Even I appreciated RR, Farhad and Nikhil in that track... The trio found everything out and exposed everything.

I myself haven't watched all those episodes, just watched some random clips. I was actually reading the details in that forum and there someone had mentioned about makers receiving backlash and then the character being toned down after the first 15-20 episodes.

Wahi to... Mannerisms chhodo, when he was annoyed for the engagement being postponed, he clearly said on her face that even if she leaves, he will find n number of girls like her... something like "tere jaisi chhatees aur aa jayengi". Still, she is stuck to him!!

Exactly... Khud ki details ke saath saath, she has legit given out all the private details of Raghav and Pallavi too as to how did they marry, how is their relationship with each other and so on. He has every bit of knowledge about the Rao family dynamics.

But Kirti has practically no knowledge about him except the fact that Sunny had a troubled childhood and his parents are divorced.

Wahi to... Sanki thinks too high of himself, as the epitome of righteousness. He has this mountain size ego... And this is precisely why I always wanted his son Mandaar to be involved in some shady business so that his words to Raghav about his upbringing and all come right back at him.

Yeah. This is why I want to see the flashbacks of Deshmukhs, especially after Sharda said that Mandaar was legit terrified of Sanki.

Frankly I didn't like that whole glorification scene of pallu there, taking a stand and all is fine. The one you mentioned, a simple reason! No one does so extreme stuff at their home, and if they do other family members stop it. Here Amruta tried and Milind too but just for glorification itna tamasha kiya, I like natural flow and not these glorifications. I did like other scenes where they took stand but not that one, jabarasti bhagwaan ka bgm daalo, give me a break!

I agree. Considering Sanki always keep boasting of good values and all, they made him despicable with that. But then again, drama works for a reason. 🤪 Keeping aside everything else totally enjoyed how she gatecrashed it.

Har jagah leads ko glorification, am highly against so I don't like such scenes.

Hum koi critic thodi na hain ki notebook aur pen leke bathte hain ki aaj iss show ka band bajayenge. 🤪 😈 🤪 As I said, shayad aat se das mahina ho chuka hain since I watched MATSH for the first time aur aaj jake pehli baar strike hua ki ek particular scene teeno show mein dikhaya gaya. And I have watched both YHM & KD hundreds of times. Specially YHM was really special to me as after years I had started watching an Indian TV serial for its plot. To woh yaad aa gaya. 😆

On Atif, definitely I agree! It's obvious.. And full credits to other PHs and this, par har kisi ki speciality hoti hai at the end.

Like I say, ipzn did wonders cos of Lalit Mohan's cinematography and aesthetics, later ppl started loving ishqaan and characters.

Exactly! Everything has boundaries, so it can be done decently. Aise tamashe aren't needed. Also it's going extremely overboard, to the extent of b/w. When the show started, he had his values and pride but a decent character. This goes in my list of black washing someone to glorify leads, both in this case.

Ofc keeping everything aside, gate crashing sequence was done superbly and Shivangi nailed it. That I give full credit, we all had enjoyed the sequence.
