TBH, I have no interest in GKKL. I know you two love RR's ferocity and a tough villain is needed for him but I am emotionally exhausted from negativity for now.

Well, I kind of enjoy RR and Lion interactions... Maza aata hai. Haan, aaj kal episodes kaafi heavy chal rahe hain... and I guess Mandaar revelation tak aisa hi rahega.

For me the best thing was Millind-Sanki followed by Amma-Pallu. You guys would enjoy it. Such lighthearted scenes are indeed fab. 😎

I am looking forward to both these scenes after reading the updates...

One of the signature mark of YHM was Mrs. Bhalla and her punjabi nakhre which also included a lot of shor-sharaba and drinking. She too had good interaction with Ishita. Personally I felt in the later part they went overboard.

Here they have toned down the characters and both the actresses share good chemistry. So I found this version better.

I have mixed reactions, on the show. They should balance well and yes we love Lion, for what you said, RR arcs too and cheesy stuff gets cut, so yeah. Baki ab analysis, me muze interest nahi raha ab, ek do din se I stopped totally. Nikki is still interested. But I have stopped analysing, cos kuch alag hi hota hai so why waste time and enjoy.

Am actually liking other bonds too, ones you mentioned. Farhad toh forever fav hai and even kirti being happy yday was so good to see.

Baki toh yes milind ka change of behavior is cos VD gave him dhamki of throwing him and his family out of the house and doubting him, just cos he supports pallu. So milind is pissed cos he felt insulted as a brother too. Waise I have always liked milind since start of show, I have actually liked all characters and arcs. I miss nikhil a lot😭

Also sudden flip of mansi and kirti was worst, but am happy ki kirti is showing arcs now, and being normal. Ofc sunny ka thoda time lagega, but she's one fab character. If you see her graph, she has always said things on face, took her decisions and faced consequences, helped pallu too. If I have to actually compare, pallu jo kar rahi hai, is very less in front of what kirti did for her and hence I was extremely piased on that flip.

Kaafi kuch... Pehle he had threatened to kick them out of his house and I guess some scenes that I skipped. This week he demanded rent from Milind.

About arcs, I have always said different characters and interactions as a whole makes a show better. So the more they can balance, the better it looks. Ab definitely har kisi ko har cheez pasand nahi aati. Like I said, when the show began I think I watched a clip like Raghav going with a girl but he showed kindness to a street kid and Pallu was right there. To mujhe laga ki yaar! Hero with a tragic past, apparent casanova attitude and all - bohut dekha hain to abhi mood nahi hain.

But then as I said, unlike some other couples, Sai and Shivangi are genuinely good actors and they look good on the tube. So yay for them! 👍🏼

Apart from that, I don't like thriller or too much action to Don angle to main obviously skip hi karungi. I am more into RomCom and Drama associated with relationships so Farhad-RR, then Keerti-Pallu, Amma-Pallu or Aai-Pallu and now Millind-RR - they attract me the most. Romance agar situational and apt ho like Pallu taking a stand in front of Sanki - woh to sone pe suhaga hain. 👏

I am mainly disappointed because from what I read, Keerti seemed like a fabulous person to uska sudden flip mujhe bohut hi na-pasand aya. Otherwise I agree, she slways stood up for Pallu. Uska khud pe case hua aur woh nikal padi Pallu ko dhundhne when she was thrown out by Sanki - so that one act answers every question. 🤗

Coming to Millind, Sanki giving him Dhamki (Wow, kya rhiming hain, wah! 😈) I had seen. But waha pe bhi usne Sulo ko kaha ki Sanki thoda short-tempered hain, aise dil pe nahi lete and all. To obviously uske baad to dfinitely kuch hua hoga that he got strict. And I am loving it how Sharda and Millind are giving it back to him. Sharda's reply to him on Vat-Savitri puja brightened up my mood. 😈 😈 😈

Last part about similarity, ab yeh ITV ka trend hain ki jo scene hit hua ho, har koi usko copy karna shuru karte hain. Aur agar ek hi PH ka ho tab to baat hi alag hain. Since Sandeep had written YHM too, obviously there will be many instances which will be repeated.

It's on the director ki woh kaise ek hi scene ko different tareeke se present karein. As I said, yaha pe plot almost same tha but yaha pe inn log nostalgia ko add kiya, Pallu ka bhi apna kuch incident hain with her best friend - it enriched the scene so much!

Maine ek baar pura list banaya tha sequence which got repeated in YHM, KD & MATSH. Madhura, tum uss waqt thi nahi shayad. 😆 To aaj bhi ek old episode dekh rahi thi MATSH ki and I just realized ki wow yaar! Yeh sequence bhi to teeno show mein ho chuka hain and all three sequence were slightly different with the way they incorporated it and the way all 6 leads portrayed it. 🤗

As much as I love Atif's direction and creativity, he can't do it and his copying his own scenes becomes too obvious. I have noticed it in Nazar and AL.

So for that, I am definitely gonna praise the current director. 👏

Frankly I didn't like that whole glorification scene of pallu there, taking a stand and all is fine. The one you mentioned, a simple reason! No one does so extreme stuff at their home, and if they do other family members stop it. Here Amruta tried and Milind too but just for glorification itna tamasha kiya, I like natural flow and not these glorifications.

I did like other scenes where they took stand but not that one, jabarasti bhagwaan ka bgm daalo, give me a break!

Milind could have easily stopped and it would have looked more natural.

Har jagah leads ko glorification, am highly against so I don't like such scenes.

On Atif, definitely I agree! It's obvious.. And full credits to other PHs and this, par har kisi ki speciality hoti hai at the end.

Like I say, ipzn did wonders cos of Lalit Mohan's cinematography and aesthetics, later ppl started loving ishqaan and characters.

Okay, so talking about characters...

Frankly speaking, I still dislike the Raghav Rao of the initial episodes... This is one reason why I never touch those initial episodes. Yes, he was shown to have a golden heart but frankly, I still do not like those episodes. That truck scene with Pallavi as well as that scene where he wiped her sweat with her pallu (never watched the entire scene to bas ye highlight yaad hai) were the most annoying ones for me. Also with his outright rude behaviour be it with Pallavi or with his house help, that kinda irked me.

So I'm kinda glad that the makers made changes in his character post the initial 15-20 episodes and toned him down... His behaviour towards Pallavi slightly changed and his rudeness with his staff to considerably decreased.

You can have different opinions but this is what I feel...

Kirti surely was a fabulous person, mature and sensible. I am highly annoyed by the way they flipped her character. Add to it the fact that they have legit turned her into a blind beetle. Matlab Sunny's behaviour is giving out so many red flags that this guy is just not right but she is still being blind towards him. Why aren't any warning bells ringing in her head?

Another thing that I kinda disliked was that she has given every bit of her details to Sunny, even the details about Raghav and Pallavi, their marriage and their relationship too. Whereas she doesn't have a single bit of information about him!! She doesn't know the names of his parents, nor does she know that he has a cousin...

Milind has always been kinda subdued in front of Sanki... But I guess the threat to kick him and his family out and then asking for rent would have impacted him badly... And maybe Sulo's words too affected him a bit. But I'm kinda glad it did impact him. No one deserves to be treated in this manner... (I generally skip Sanki's scenes so maybe there are some more instances which made Milind finally speak up)

Sharda giving Sanki back nicely was really nice to see... Going by whatever she said, Sanki looks like one control freak person because she clearly said that Mandaar used to be hell scared of him and he used to hide behind her.

I agree on similarity... Scene agar hit ho gaya to kahin na kahin dobara use hota hi hai.

Idhar Pals ka past incident with her friend was a nice thing to add...

Agree on Atif and his creativity... He definitely can't do that and when he copies his own scenes, it actually becomes way too obvious. As you said, we have already seen that with reference to Nazar and AL.

I am in two minds about that entire scene with the D-fam and Pals taking Sanki's class. On one hand, I feel it was kind of overdone but on the other hand, I feel that it was a result of Pallavi's bottled up feelings.

Before her ousting from D-house, she had been a subdued and quiet person. She had faced a lot there and kicking her out was the biggest blow to her. But immediately after that, she had to marry RR and hence, she didn't get a time to think about all that. Then, post the necklace kaand, VD came to take her back, she had flashes of that ousting and she stopped in her tracks. So, that kicking her out of the house did impact her a lot. Add to it that she had just heard Raghav's past and she got to know what all he had faced. She was already bottling up her anger due to VD kicking her out but when she saw the same kind of insult being inflicted on Raghav, she finally blew up. I could say that her blowing up was a culmination of her own feelings as well as her anger on VD for stooping so low and trying to inflict insult on RR.

So, I don't know what exactly is my stand on this...

The execution of Kirti fiasco was the worst... It was totally stupid to see Pallavi's cold reaction to that and the fact that it was just randomly brushed under the carpet for quite some time. Rush mein script likhenge to yahi hoga na...

This is one more thing I hate. RR ki family ka kuch hota hai, it's given abrupt closure or done super fast but pallu ki family ke detailing hota hai about tracks.. When they suffer, it's not like am just being biased but observed it many times and it's irritating.

The only thing I appreciated was how RR farhad found all out, exposed and nikhil helped them. Am not saying Krishna cos she too had a very cold reaction in this!

So one track where the guys rocked and an applause to them!

I agree. Considering Sanki always keep boasting of good values and all, they made him despicable with that. But then again, drama works for a reason. 🤪 Keeping aside everything else totally enjoyed how she gatecrashed it.

Hum koi critic thodi na hain ki notebook aur pen leke bathte hain ki aaj iss show ka band bajayenge. 🤪 😈 🤪 As I said, shayad aat se das mahina ho chuka hain since I watched MATSH for the first time aur aaj jake pehli baar strike hua ki ek particular scene teeno show mein dikhaya gaya. And I have watched both YHM & KD hundreds of times. Specially YHM was really special to me as after years I had started watching an Indian TV serial for its plot. To woh yaad aa gaya. 😆
