In an episode, her principal told she got two scholarships. So may be one is for paying the fees and other for her expenses (like community scholarship and all)

Here in South Korea, there is a monthly stipend system. Usually about USD1000/ month. Apart from that, there is usually an extra stipend given to students by their professors (about USD500) in grad schools.

I think she got two scholarships like mentioned by the other lady. One maybe the annual one and the other monthly one.

I really would love to see Sai having a part time job to show her independent. For example 2 hours daily or only on Saturday or Sunday. Here people do that a lot don't know about India though. 😕
