Kathy is the daughter of hotelier Ketan Malhotra, proprietor of 7-star Tropical Paradise. When her father's friend Vijay Mehra tricks them into losing the hotel, Kathy must go undercover to find the proof they need to get it back. She is the childhood friend of Karan.

Karan is the son of Vijay Mehra. He faces the obstacle of having to prove himself to his father and the dislike of his stepmother, a younger woman. Karan is in love with Kathy.
