malini did try to do suicide drama but at that time also he knew she did it for him and he never moved back from sach batana hai.. toh fir jab KC-Malini will be out in open toh kis baat ka guilt? u were going to break he heart regardless she tried to do this lame drama..

lets imagine if this KC had not prakatoed then they would have known she is just weaving lies.. then what.. we wait n watch game but the truth is out.. he loves imlie and malini is third wheel.. so why make him guilty..

Yaar aapko yeh guilt ki philosophy samjh nahi aa rahi hai. Adi already guilt mein tha that he was not a good husband and because of him she got hurt. Then she committed suicide and that guilt became even more. When she said that it was because of KC, guilt thoda kam hua. When Imlie pointed out that he was willing to belive her lies just to get his way, the guilt again came back. But when he actually saw KC, he was able to push back that guilt thinking she is happy. Ab when he finds out the truth, his guilt will come back that without ensuring that Malini was settled, he settled with Imlie, apne jald aazi ke chakkar mein.

Again this is his thinking. He is not responsible for Malini's actions and she is an adult who does nit beed to be settled to be happy. But Adi is like that. For him Malini will always be his zimmedari, as he feels he was the one ho brought her into this mess. And we all know just how seriously Adi nibhaoes his zimmedari. Hence this guilt ka cycle tab tak chalega till Adi is convinced that she has truly moved on from this mess.
