Ooh I have no doubts about his guilt ridden tendencies and couple that with Imlie ka pyaar for her didi, both of them are not going to let her go. So i rewatched the episode and i am feeling better about few parts and weir about others..

better about Aditya n malini conversation.. he genuinely seem like he likes her as friend.. and he is ok with happy memories.. as Flowerji said.. Malini made it more dramatic.. the photo frame was in cuboard.. out of sight so he is not making any museum out of it.. it felt a lame attemt of guilt tripping.. which she does time to time.. i give her discount as thats her character.. she is bound to make these remarks to make ours and Adityas head hurt 😆 so no issues with that scene

the problem i had was with the life hum malini ka dil dukhake ji hi nahi paate... that line doesn have any sar na pair.. no context whatsoever.. so if any one of you can shade some light on this one i am ready to hear the perspective 😊

On chai date he was bas ek baar unka dil thootega par phir sab thik hooga .. I think this a setup done when KC-Malini sach comes out adi has major guilt 😊

Here I would like to differ on the bold. Adi never compared Malini with Imlie, or even his relationship with Malini with the one he has with Imlie. The reference point I said was how we was with each of them. As I had mentioned, he was a completely different person with each of them, and he felt the person he was with Imlie and the feelings he felt for her was his true self and he could not be like that with Malini. That was the only reference for him to able able to accept his marriage with Imlie and move on from Malini. Which is why that guilt remains. He knows that his realization came late because of which Malini hot involved through no fault of hers. That is the guilt that will continue till the end.
