You need to this show for sure. Shahzaib is a bigger psycho than Sultan, but he is a more balanced person in the beginning. What is commendable is that Shahzaib could have been a Sultan 2.0, but Danish managed to make him his own person!

And about his look, it truly suits his character. You need to watch to know what I am talking about. The curls aren't that distracting. Its just that we are so used to seeing guys with slicked, gelled hair with a bouffant style. Natural texture is rarely seen.

ARY is airing double episodes so the pace is good, you will get on board the Shahzaib during the first episode itself. I can vouch for that ☺️☺️❤️

Please give it a chance, for me, you won't regret it 😳

If I can watch meherposh and another crappy show with danish and ayeza , I can give this one a try..but after 10-15 episodes r aired..I don't have the patience to wait every week 😆

Hiba was more likeable in the initial episodes of Fitoor (which is a complete goner now). In fact I wanna see Danish paired with Sajal Aly and Hira Mani (who I find to be a fab performer). He's worked with Hira before, but not in the romantic sense.

Oh come on! You HAvE to watch arnav then 🤣 He is aweeeeesome. I saw ipkknd bec I used to read that he was a toxic hero etc etc , but he is not even close..I won't Tag him as gray..the heroine literally fries his brain badly🤣 N he is dumbstruck, but never really tried to hurt her..nor fall in love so soon ..but he was majorly affected by her.

The thing is , Sultan was a badass. While our heros (daily soap heros) can be gray but they cN never be vile. They can never be black. Gul khan lost her touch ages ago, dunno how she managed ipk but that's her best work. She messed up big time in all shows post ipk but they r hits n all have a huge fan base.. gk specializes in showing heros with a troubled past and heroine trying to fix them..however asr was different..its purely a love story, more of a light hearted romantic comedy.. so if ur a fan of that genre, don't miss it. Highly recommened.

I like nakul Mehta but not in IB. He tried to ape Hritik a lot which I didn't like..

Sultan was probably the first gray/black hero I ever saw in paki dramas...I saw Mir hadi later.. But here they don't care if they r loved or hated , they can't do justice to obsessive heros. Pehle they create such characters, then thy blame the audience for loving them and then they ruin them , saying that justice need to be served....sultan/Mir hadi/ humza..sabka kachra kar diya..I wish they could write them in a humane way. Like..give proper reasoning to their actions , make them miserable but also reform them to make them likeable ..they can also be good ppl, capable of better things..let's see what they do with ishq hai. Keeping my hopes low.

I think rk was pretty close to Sultan.. infact I always compared them whenever I saw Sultan.. Sultan was worse than rk though characrerwise 😆 Rk phir bhi sudhar gaya pyar mein. I wanted rk to be like Sultan but they ruined rk ..wohi reason.. a hero has to be a hero ..so he has to reform in love..otherwise they can't be rooted with the heroine.

Basically its about Shahzaib and Isra. Both are from well to do families, but Shahzaib seems to be richer. He's got all the family pressure, his mom is a dominating fool while his younger brother is good for nothing. Isra is the apple of her family's eye. These two love each other, but both get their rishtas fixed elsewhere. Shahzaib is shown fighting for his love but Isra gives up easily (shown last week why) and agrees to marry her mother's best friend's son (who is creepy af). Now the story will be Shahzaib loosing his mind over her and going full on psycho.

I tried watching IPK...cringed every second 🤣 Maybe its just me but Barun's voice didn't suit the character 🤣 Danish's voice elevated the character, the sheer power, bro!

Sultan was amazing, I cannot even compare him to RK 😆 Don't get me wrong, HUGE Vivian fan, but he lacks the acting chops that Danish has. Vivian's best role has to be Abhay in PKYEK.

If you think Sultan is black, u gotta watch Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai. Jan-e-Alam makes Sultan look like a saint 😆 That character's given me true creeps. If I hadn't watched Deewangi, Meherposh, Jab We Wed and Wajood, I would have hated Danish! 😆 Coz you only see Jan-e-Alam on screen and are disgusted by him.

The main problem with Deewangi was that Nageen and Sultan weren't meant to be. None of the girls were Sultan's match. At least Madhubala had the guts to stand upto RK and win. But Sultan was a pure dominant alpha, he needed an equally strong love interest, who could change him. But that would make more of Netflix material if ukwim ☺️🤣 Even I had censored my fanfiction on Sultan 🤣

Best redemption has to be Damon Salvatore and Chuck Bass. Lots of people now make fun of the shows (despite their iconic statuses) but those characters had very well written arcs.

I watched him for the first yime in aik pal with arij fatima and good lord they were fire there

I so miss arij in dramas

Then i watched an old show of him with ayeza a d affan....it was called.... Saari bhool humaari thi and omgggg loved all 3 of them so much in that show

Danish was grey in both the shows but in a sexy and real way as older pak scripts were less unreasonable amd less dramatic

Tje recent ayeza danish pair shows r such trash.... I m out of words

Ayeza still has hits and superhit with other heroes and i m a sucker of her pairing with sami

But i always regretted how danish was always underrated and never got hjs due

Hardly any good show gets offered to him where he is a gem of an actor

Now thanks to his recent geo shows last few years i m really glad he is getting the recognition he so badly needed snd so aptly deserved

I really want ishq hai to be a big hit on ary so that he gets more shows on ary after geo

Yes, I am watching this show. I like it when the hero loves heroine very much and can't think of losing her. This drama has that aspect.

I have seen deewangi , meherposh and jab we wed. Ab bas..dekh khuda kya karta hai I don't wanna watch..like I said , I am not too cool with anti heros , as long as they try to redeem themselves and have some basic good qualities. Gul e Rana and dekh khuda ka karta hai I won't be able to watch.

I am not a vd fan😆 I only like the characters..I don't like barun also...but the time I was watching deewangi , I was reminded of rk..both took revenge on the girls they loved but Sultan ka revenge was the actual revenge 😆 rk was good but the character went downhill very soon . They didn't know what to do with him to make him interesting and acceptable both. Look wise and acting wise , Sultan/Danish rules 😎

Sultan is incomparible to the Gul Khan heroes, I truly detest her male characters, even if its someone good looking like Nakkul 😆 Sujal is a legend 😎

Everything that you're describing is so on point. Sultan has an edge that many grey characters lack. And I don't even mean his looks, it's his sheer confidence, which is so very attractive.

Where Danish scores is he aint just good eye candy for females to thirst over, but he is so very talented! You can't take your eyes off him when he is on screen and to be very honest, I have experienced such screen presence of various actors from the West, but no one from South Asia. Not to mention, I blush so hard during most his dialogues, whether its him being romantic or a deewana on screen. Special shoutout from episode 30 to 32, when you watch it, you'll know what I mean 😉 It still makes me loose my mind ☺️☺️☺️☺️ And around that time Sultan is turning out to be a full on bipolar crazy dude, so I feel something is wrong with my brain if I find certain portions attractive ☺️

I really thought it must be a fluke, because Deewangi was his second show I saw, first being Jab We Wed with Ayeza...but then I saw Ab Dekh Khuda Kya Karta Hai, and man oh man, this guy deserves much more opportunities and accolades. I won't be wrong if I say he is a better performer and a better script chooser than Ayeza. 😆

Absolutely agree with you about their first meet, the way Sultan looks at her makes you feel she is special. In all honesty, I never found Nageen likeable at all. But a part of me in the beginning only rooted for them because I could feel what Sultan feels! Though right from the beginning I could see that these two are no match for each other, Sultan in a way lost his mind over Nageen because she did not throw herself at him. Nageen, on the other hand, did invite a lot of her troubles because of her own attitude.

Uufff that "haye masoom" has my heart 😳😳😳

@bold: YAAS!! Sultan was not a womaniser or a creep, like the other men who hit on Nageen. So the fact she generalised literally pissed me off so bad. 😆 And Sultan does pay for playing this game, you will feel his pain in further episodes. Don't take so much stress, the entire show is out 😆😆 When I was watching there were some 7-8 episodes left, so my anxiety levels were sky high🤣

Well the fact that I like Sultan as a character, it makes me think something is really wrong with me, but somehow I just cant help it😆 I saw till episode 16/17, and Haroon atleast ATM is genuinely a nice guy and in general I root for the good guys, but this time I really couldnt care less about him😆

The scene where Sultan breaks in front of his grandma, when she is trying to tell him to still make amends with Nageen..and he is literally like, I dont think I will ever be able to love someone else again, because my true love was treated like thrash..I swear, I was like, yeah dude, I totally understand your emotions😭...

I dont know what to think of myself anymore, frankly..🤣 he did Nageen real dirty..basically wanted to make her feel the hurt and pain of rejection and ruswaii..the way he felt it...and poor Nageen really has been suffering a lot now🤓 but I still cant hate Sultan at all😳🤣 I enjoyed watching Nisha's unpredictable turns and absolutely crazy and disturbing antics in Jalan and now Sultan in Deewangi and the irony that the two actors are paired in this show..it couldnt get crazier than that😆

Anyway, I feel like Sultan punished himself by marrying Narmeen..he did everything he could to satiate his ego..and yet he knew fully well within that nothing could make up for the hole in his heart...when he gets full on drunk on wedding night, man oh man, the pain I felt for him💔

I cant wait to see the two of them cross paths again and Sultan totally destroying himself in deewangi lol.

Chuck Bass did you say?☺️ can I tell you honestly, I dont think he was happy in the finale episode, now that Blair had tamed him and he had become a family man🤣

I have literally watched nothing of Danish's previous work..i need to catch up on it lol. Yes Hira and Danish would be really a treat to watch!
