PROLOGUE

Where I am? What have I done to myself? I hadn't thought that the golden path of this glamour world which attracts every one towards it will lead me to the darkest phase of my life. Neil, the super star, dream of every girl, reason of envy for every actor of bollywood has become a victim of his own stardom. I have lost all that I had. But I do not regret losing any of these things. To say the truth I didn't even value these things when I had them. But I regret losing the most precious person in my life. She was the only one who loved Neil as a person not as a super star. And our love was only truth in this false glittering world of showbiz.

Every second of my life seems like a painful long year without her. But I have no option'. I have to bear this pain as I am only responsible for my present condition. I wish I could go back in time and make everything right between us but unfortunately this is not possible. Now I have to live this long life without her, repenting every moment of every harsh word, every fight, every misunderstanding that I could have solved.  I know she is gone far away from me but I still love her and will always do and will keep praying for her well being and success.

"I love you Mini..may you get all the happiness of the world." Neil jotted down the last sentence in his diary and closed it. He sighed and took the support of back of the chair as he was again lost in her memories.

CHARACTER SKETCH

Neil Oberoi

He is a super star of bollywood, dream of every girl, reason of envy of every other actors. He just loves his profession and enjoy every day of being "The NEIL". To some extent he is narcissist.  He understand the industry and its trends very well. He owns a production house also which is run by him and his father. Huge success at early age and in short span of time has made him arrogant and highly egoistic.

Minni Khurana

She is introvert person. Loves her sister Preet and mother Babita very much, can do anything for them. Hates her father Ashok for treating her mother like a trash. She lives in Mumbai in a chawl with her family. She works as background dancer on the film sets to support her family financially.  Like any girl of her age Mini is also a fan of Neil Oberoi and dreams of meeting him someday but unlike Preet, her fancies regarding bollywood ends here only. She doesn't want to do anything with films even in her wildest dream. 

Ashok Khurana -  Minni's father-  He treats his wife like a trash for not giving him son and considers his daughters as bad omen who are responsible for their poor condition. He has all kinds of  bad habits. Spent most of his time in either jail or bar. Very greedy, can do anything for money.

Babita- Minni's mother- She is a homemaker. Ashok never treated her nicely yet she is stuck with him for the sake of society and her daughters. When they came to Mumbai she found a friend in Naeem bi with whom she shares every happy and sad moment of her life. She loves her daughters very much and want them to study and get settled in their life.

Preet - Minni's elder sister- A confident and bubbly girl.  Though Naeem bi is like a grandmother to her but she shares a friend like relation with Naeem bi and shares her every secret.. She is very ambitious and wants to make it large in bollywood. Crazy fan of Neil, has a huge crush on him and dreams of working with him one day.

Naeem bi- Babita's friend, neighbour in chawl- Considers Babita as her daughter and loves both of her daughters very much.  When she was young she dream of becoming top heroine but couldn't get the chance and ended up becoming a junior artist. She still regret this. She is more attached to Preet as she sees the reflection of herself in Preet and believes that one day she could live her dreams through Preet.

Mickey-  Neil' s childhood friend. Son of a rich business man. Loves the glamour of film industry. Always gives wise advice to his friend whenever he needs it.

Khatri- PA of Neil-. He is very manipulative and knows how to  crack deals for Neil and how to take advantage from any situation.

Isha Kapoor- a successful heroine. Totally shrewd and manipulative.  wants to be with Neil and never hide her intentions also. Openly flirts with Neil whenever she gets a chance. wants to take the advantage of his popularity to stay in news.

Other character will be introduced as the story will progress.

Abhimaan, yes (the jealousy and ego part). Rk madhu, yes (but the actual storyline that was promised not the shit they turned the show into)

A little bit of both and also some inspiration from gurudutt's classic kaagaz ke phool.
