This episode was so weird. On one hand, Suman getting her kangaan back and Raavi's heart warming welcome to the party got me all teary. All beautiful scenes (minus Raavi from the side being extra grey..but I get to that later).

Then they have the dual suicide where Shiva is literally dangling off the roof, and Raavi is making her way to also jump and kill herself. I'm not going to lie - I thought that part was kind of hilarious. Everyone was busy saving Shiva how would they have saved Raavi? It was so odd to me. They could have just had her threaten herself with a knife or something (if they really had to go down this route🤔) but no. She was about to jump just like Shiva. I dunno it was weird.

Also love how lightly CVs take suicide. Kudos to them. They could only continue their trajectory upwards after the Shiva-Krish danda pitai (maha sarcasm intended).

Raavi's end scene was weird too. I am wondering if she got triggered because Shiva said "I wouldn't jump for Mami" ( at least that is what I thought he said to Suman). And at that point she thought he was faking it but I mean...he did actually jump. Sooooo... I don't know. Raavi was just super weird today. I just don't get her.

Precap has them all dancing. I wonder if Shiva really is going to give another set of kangans to Mami and that is what made them happy? But this family does go from 0 to 180 super quick. Literally don't get this family.

But these were just my two cents.

The makers built up this track so well, it looked they had actually given multiple good plans to Shiva

and everything ended today like a sasta parody

While shiva was being pulled raavi implored maami about the kangans and humanity and she then decided to jump so no one could have held her back at that point Coz the rest were pulling shiva including weak Dev lol

How could he have even thought of suicide? He has seen first hand what the effect of someone attempting suicide is, on the bystanders. How could he have put his loved ones Gaumbi, Dhara and Suman, through that ordeal when he himself has been subjected to that horror.

I might have still stomached this nonsense if Shiva was insensitive or immature from the beginning, if he had never seen anyone else attempting suicide, and he just never understood the stakes. I just can’t accept this.

At this point I wish he had just bought replacement kangans for Maami- any nonsense is better than this.

I believe his original plan was to get the kangans back by using Pagphere Ki Rasam. However, I don't think he had any backup plans after that (because if he did, we would've been treated with something better). Personally speaking, I wish the writers let go of the kangan issue and instead have it be a problem in the background. Shiva and Raavi could get closer, but because of the kangan issue, their relationship would never progress into something more.

Raavi, now that she likes Shiva more, recognizes how important the kangans are, and tries to raise money so she can "buy" back the kangans from Maami. However, the family grows suspicious of her (it could be similar to the ring track in the original). Shiva doesn't know what she is doing, but supports her nonetheless, and on his birthday, she gifts him the kangans--allowing them to finally surpass that last barrier in their relationship.

This is what I wanted to see. Something without suicide. Something where Shiva and Raavi solve an issue. And you are absolutely right, Shiva in the beginning was showed to be someone very mature and advanced for his age. He wouldn't have reacted that way on the day of Raavi's near suicide attempt.

Wait, I have hopes on Raavi's last dialogue, she is going to drop the bomb shell after the party is over. If she still goes with him after the family pleads with her, she should still not give him any bhaav and treat him like he never exists. He needs to apologize wholeheartedly and promise to respect her😕

@bold: I guess Shiva meant that he wasn't actually going to jump. even if he did end up having to jump his brothers would save him, so he knew that nothing would happen to him

Raavi's willingness to jump was the unexpected thing that no one accounted for
