This scene is really special to me.

On a random day, I was scrolling through Instagram and the reel of this scene showed up in my feed. Kanwar was a familiar face as I've seen some glimpses of his previous shows like Hum Hai Na and Ek Aastha Aise Bhi. Gave it a view and Shivi had me instantly. It was the reel of this kitchen scene posted in Kanwar's insta page.

Thereafter, I surfed further and soon caught the wedding promo. It was after that I got to know that Pandya Store is the remake of "Swanthanam" the show my mother watch religiously. 🤣

The rest is history.

Now, I'm gushing over Shivi and am wide awake at night like an ullu. 😆

About 'Santwanam'....my aunt and achachan(dadaji) religiously followed this...almost one and half month ago I was having a silly argument over how the malayalam PS actors are not that good compared to tamil one(just to annoy him...we used to have such petty fights coz that was how we were..more like friends)...but we lost him to covid just one month ago...cant believe we were fighting few weeks b4 that...

I am highly upset as well... half way through the drama, I really wanted to shut the episode off and watch something lighter and more meaningful... Out of all of Shiva's plans, I can't believe the plan that caused him to "win" back the kangans was a suicide attempt. Not his suicide attempt, but Raavi's suicide attempt.

If Raavi was the key to getting these kangans back, I wish there was a scene of Shiva apologizing to her or talking to her about the importance of the kangans just as he spoke to her about the importance of Pandya Store. Perhaps that would've opened her eyes, and she could've requested Prafulla for the kangans as a birthday present without suicide in the picture.

I know there won't be a conversation that will further delve into his suicide attempt as the makers are not known for deep, meaningful conversations between characters... 😭

I really want to know the original plan. He could not have had suicide as plan 😡 How could he have possibly thought that Maami would care enough to give him the Kangans. He could NOT have anticipated Raavi’s attempt.

How could he have even thought of suicide? He has seen first hand what the effect of someone attempting suicide is, on the bystanders. How could he have put his loved ones Gaumbi, Dhara and Suman, through that ordeal when he himself has been subjected to that horror.

I might have still stomached this nonsense if Shiva was insensitive or immature from the beginning, if he had never seen anyone else attempting suicide, and he just never understood the stakes. I just can’t accept this.

At this point I wish he had just bought replacement kangans for Maami- any nonsense is better than this.

Makers ka dimaag is like chullu bhar paani.. They cannot process high level thoughts and ideas! Unke liye ye mediocre plots kaafi hai🤬 Aajka episode was the worst ! Itne build up ke baad end me aake ye dikhaya!😡

Maami had challenged Shiva’s Aukaat, and this is what he does? He should be ashamed! The family should be ashamed of raising such a man-child. He needs psychological help!

Shiva was just doing a drama of jumping, he knew nothing would happen to him and his brothers would save him

Raavi on the other hand was serious about committing suicide. She was ready to jump for Shiva/the kangans 😕

I think the writers have no brain! They proved it today. My brain is still not able to process the nonsense that was shown in today's episode! For PS makers suicide is a joke! Harr koi chatt se kudne ke liye ready hai😡😡 After watching today's episode I have no expectations from Raavi's dialogue where she says she wont go with him. I feel tomorrow once he will give maami a new set of kangans, Raavi will melt and go back with him😕 Somnath jane se pehle sab thik hoga and Somnath me these guys will happily celebrate the godbharai!

Oh noo. Yeh Angle to Maine Socha nahi. I hope not. Raavi had a big dialogue and hope she goes through what she's planned. I'm going to hope that she'll Marilyn play along till the end of party for the family and then drop a bomb.

The VFX were like my 3 yo niece trying out all the filters in our video calls. 😂😂

The music was muted...it was some sasta club music playing and all crazy monkeys jumping here and there🤣🤣
