The only way one owns a property in this city is if they are rich or their forefathers were kind enough to buy one in their generation.

Even the cheapest part of the city proper will probably cost 1 crore for a 400 square feet flat 🤡 So you could make 30lpa (pre tax) and still be poor enough not to be able to afford a flat as a family! 🤪

The efficiency of the public transport system means you could pretty much manage without a vehicle- perhaps the only city in India IMO. Want to get back home at 11pm on public transport- easy peasy!

Also, Panvel is supposed to get the new Mumbai international airport, although as with all things Mumbai, let's see how long it takes to become operational!!
