Idk he doesn’t seem to have an intense passion for boxing either. At least, Jasmine reminded him that he should probably get a job . With Tejo, he’s going to be a stay at home dad who drops and picks up his wife from work. I’m hoping he can at least learn to cook. But like you said, he has the makings of an Olympic gold medal winner if he could win that match with the no eating-no practice-heavily drinking regime.😆

True, Jasmine was the only thing Fateh wanted for himself, like it was with Tejo and her PhD/teaching. I hope he finds something else otherwise like you said he’ll be a stay at home dad.

Disappointed with makers if they show Jasmine completely negative. It was a story of dreams of three characters. They could have shown Jasmine ways of going to canada and how she lands in trouble because of them by some funny situations and then realizing that she can achieve it by working hard. But it's also going on typical itv show way.

Can anyone explain that when entire sandhu khandaan is so obsessed with cannada then they've not pushed their kids to study harder and get scholarships. That sounds like the reasonable plan if you don't have much money.

The story is set up in a village,

Tejo wanted to do a job and continue her studies even that become a huge issue in her maika and sasural both.

They are not progressive enough to think that their children will study hard and make their dream come true of going canada..

For girls, marriage is the only way they can fulfill their dream.

Completely agree with this. I would have loved it if the show focused on their dreams. Jasmine and Canada, Tejo and her Punjab and Fateh figuring out his dream( because the Punjab medal seems like his father’s dream based on how easily he gave it up and having another person urf Jasmine as a dream doesn’t count in my opinion)
